Hi! You look fantastic:) great transformation! Hope you are enjoying summer with that new body. I also have very uneven swelling under my belly button on the right side (since day 3. )It was very intense and still is:(. I thought I may have done something like popping a stitch from laughing too hard, but I never heard a popping sound. It should go down...I just need patience. Did your swelling even out over time??? Like you, I did next to nothing for 3 weeks. Next Tuesday marks 4 weeks and I am still swollen with little activity. I am a teacher, so I'm lucky! God bless those that activity work after 2 weeks. Good luck to you! I am obsessed with the show Botched, how cool that he's your doctor.

Ken doll FUPA?!

User Avatar

Oh no!! My swelling is moving down and I think I'm starting to get the ken doll effect:( I am not feeling very attractive already and now my shape is changing due to all the swelling and it's making me feel even more unattractive.....I hope this doesn't last long....not to mention the the pressure from the swelling there causes aching. My boobs feel fine and incisions look good....but this swelling is relentless. It just goes from one place to the next.

I had some swelling down there too. It does resolve and go away though. I still get some puffiness in my belly when I get my period, but no longer in my FUPA. Otherwise you are looking great so far!

Just came across your page. I'm 18 days PO and so far that region is the worst swelling I've had. My PS never seems concerned, but it certainly bothers me. Hoping you're still healing well and it has gone down some.

Still pretty swollen but not so bad...

So I had the stitches removed from my areola's and t-section area from my breast lift. They were a little sore and tender after but not too bad. I was so paranoid that it they were taken out that they the incision could open....but of course they didn't lol. Jackie (who i see for my follow ups at doctor Dubrows Office) says that she is very impressed with how fast I am healing and I am so thankful about that. I have been taking my ester-c vitamin daily and arnica for a speedy recovery. I have also been staying put. I haven't lifted anything and spend most of my time in a recliner. I am almost 3 weeks in. By 4 weeks I will start to resume my normal routines. I know a lot of people resume their regular lives, work, etc. as soon as two weeks into recovery. However, I am playing it extra safe because I don't want to do ANYTHING to add to my recovery process or scarring. My worst fear is my stitches opening up....which everyone says is rare....but my sister-in-laws stitches opened and her healing process took 3 months just to be able to return to her regular lifestyle. And from what I see on realself....it doesn't seem so uncommon. So, I am playing it very very safe. I eat lots of fruits, veggies, and protein....I also eat 2-4 cookies everyday lol which is not very healthy of me. But I am on weight watchers so I use my weeklies for my cookie addiction. So far so good. I feel happy with my recovery just very very very bored! lol I thought the idea of chillen in a chair and watching tv all day was gonna be great....but it's really not as relaxing as I thought it would be....I am usually a very active and independent person....so not being active and having to ask everyone to help me do things is a bit hard for me. But the good news is that whatever I am doing is working! So I'm gonna continue to do it! :))))) I added a couple of pics of what I look like as of now. I also included what pics of what my breasts look like minus the stitches and some of the scabbing. I am still pretty swollen around my tummy tuck incision. I wish I would have taken some side view pictures though....because you can't see it as much from the front angle pictures. Hope all of you are healing beautifully! ????????

Amen to the cookies! You have to live a little lol! My go to is ice cream ;) Once you hit 4 weeks your recovery will take a turn for the best! That's when I started getting on the move and started feeling better. Your incisions look like they are healing very well! You are looking awesome!
