Please do NOT choose Dr Andrade as your surgeon.
Hi ladies,
I am 3 days post explant (NOT with Dr A). Thank God I chose to remove my implants only 2 years after getting them in. When my surgeon was removing the implants en bloc (with the capsule intact around them) the pleura around my lungs and the tissue on my ribs peeled off with them. He said that during the implant procedure, the surgeon must have caused trauma which made my implants stick to my chest wall. He has never in his ~20 years of *removing implants* had that happen to him. Not only did Dr Andrade leave me with terrible results (between the nipple and the bottom of the breast is supposed to be about 5cm, he left me with 10cm so therefore huge long breasts so THEREFORE NO LIFT WAS DONE) (((and you can see this in his after pictures, he leaves women with long breasts))), but he is the reason why I had such difficulty breathing since getting them in. I knew there was something wrong as I always had shortness of breath and a feeling like I couldn't expand my lungs fully which Ive been telling my family and friends since the beginning! (also mentioned in the post below) So crazy that I paid 11 thousand dollars to have basically no lift done AND to have my health jeopardized. Imagine I left these implants in my body for longer and removed them in another few years? Who knows what would have happened, maybe my lung would have collapsed altogether or worse. Please don't choose Dr Andrade for any procedure.
In addition, when consulting with Dr Andrade, I told him I wanted a lift with nice cleavage. He swore up and down the only way I would achieve that look is with implants. That is NOT TRUE. I received a lift from my new surgeon and he moved my breast tissue on the inside (internal lift) ... guess what? It looks like I have cleavage from my breast tissue alone even though I had nothing at the tops of my chest (as you can see in my before pictures, you could see my chest bones).
Clearly Dr Andrade Is either A. Not skilled enough to perform proper procedures or B. Only wants to put implants into women so he can charge more AND do a terrible job at that too. My guess is- a little bit of both. Clearly he is not skilled enough to perform a lift and even put implants in without causing trauma. Ive heard that explant causes a lot of pain, but I haven't been in half the pain I was in when I got my implants in.
Ladies, look into the harmful effects of implants... If you still decide to put implants into your body go with another surgeon. Definitely not William Andrade. Please.

Regrets: Removing implants after 2 years
Hi everyone,
I apologize for going MIA after the last update. I didn't want to actually type out my terrible experience. So I decided to remove my implants after a long 2 years lol. I wish so dearly that Dr Andrade gave me more information and choices regarding implants. My breasts are absolutely huge, I did NOT need implants, especially the size that he put into my body. I know its not anyones fault but my own because I chose to put implants in to my body... But. He never, not once, said anything about not getting implants in and just doing a lift on its own. NOR did he have any concern regarding the size of implants. I told him I did not want large breasts, just full ones and he had nothing to say about the 360cc I originally chose (Thank God I had the sense [at least] to change my mind and go with 330cc) I have enough breast tissue to have decently sized boobs, granted.. it would have been without very much cleavage. But I wouldn't be in the pain that I am in, if only he explored the lift-only option.
The pocket that Dr A made for the implant is too far into my armpit than it is in the middle of my chest which causes pain when im trying to sleep. My implants fall into my armpits when im laying flat on my back and they look very odd. If I activate my chest muscles (push my hands against each other in front of my body), they recede up and outward toward my armpits. He did not give me enough of a lift, which you can clearly tell by the shape of my breasts. Now the main reason I am removing my implants is not because of the terrible outcome aesthetically, but because I have trouble breathing properly and I am in pain. When I am laying down, sometimes my shortness of breath is so bad I have to sit up to catch my breath. In regards to pain, sometimes I get shooting pain through my breast or one side is just achy. Sometimes I have to push my implants toward the middle of my chest because the sides of my breasts hurt, maybe from the implants wanting to migrate around my body to my back. (PS. About a quarter of my breast is numb, so thats great). I also believe I have other symptoms from having these foreign items in my body..
Anyway, I have booked a consultation with a surgeon for explant and hopefully Ill be able to save money for a lift (explant is covered under OHIP).
I really hate that a lot of women on here always say go big or go home/you'll regret it. Let me tell you, I regret implants altogether.
I will add pictures in soon.

Well this was unexpected.
So I just showered and finished crying! The tape around my nipples came off and revealed my 2 completely different sized nipples!! I don't even know what to say... I'm so devastated. I don't understand how this can happen... My nipples were 99% the EXACT same size. Why is my left nipple significantly smaller. My mom (trying to calm me down) told me to wait until they're healed because my right isn't as healed as my left, but thats not going to shrink the right one!
I held up an elastic band to show how small it actually is because i don't think the other pictures really does it justice.
I know that after surgery they aren't going to be identical and perfect (sister not twins) BUT COME ON. Im losing it right now ..
