Healing well! Finally cleared to return to normal activities. My breast scars look great and I'm beginning to begin scar therapy. Still waiting for the left breast to join her friend, lol. I am still swollen after activity. Hope everyone is well!

Hi everyone! Everything is going well. I've been walking a lot and going to the gym twice a week. I still swell towards the end of the day, but it's not as bad as it was in previous weeks. My left breast is still high. My scar is dark right now, but I'm sure it will lighten up once I begin scar therapy next week. I will take of the tape on my breasts next week, after my six week check up. My weight has dropped about a pound or so since the surgery. I'm so proud of myself for not gaining any weight!

You look great. I was wondering because I see a lot of women have lymphatic massages have you looked into it to help with the swelling? I have found people in NYC that do it but haven't found anyone up here yet.

Thank you! No, I haven't looked into those massages. I was told there isn't anything I can do with the swelling. I have to be patient .

Hi everyone! I hope you all are well. Everything is still going pretty smooth. I'm doing more around the house, going for walks during lunch, etc. The swelling in my abdomen has gone down some, but I'm still swollen above my incision. I also noticed I have a hard spot right above the center of my vagina. I'm wondering if it where the surture/stitches end? Not sure. My breasts are healing well, but I'm still waiting for the left one to drop. My scar tape still hasn't fell off completely, but some pieces are lifting up. I was happy to see the scar is healing well, too.
I think I'm going to get on the treadmill tomorrow. I will let you all know how it goes.
Also, I signed up for the Mentor enhanced warranty for 200 dollars. Did anyone else do this? On top of your regular warranty, they will also provide you with money for an additional surgery due to implant defect. Check it out if you haven't already.

Yeah I think that's the sutures for sure. My Dr showed me where they were and what they felt like. But they should not go past down your incision line? I'm glad you are doing well

The doctor confirmed it is the sutures. It will soften up over time!

Glad all is well. I hope to schedule my surgery sometime this month for April possibly. Jus waiting on hubby's work schedule when he gets his vacation.
