Binder break

handj611
WORTH IT$8,125
Went to my 2nd post op appt today and got my stitches out. I had to get 4 stitches in my right breast where the opening was. Up get those out along with my drain on Tuesday. My waist is super small I'm lying down in this pic. I have NO back fat or fat in my flanks. I'm still swollen around my incision. Just a couple days ago it was wrinkled looking today it has smoothed out a lot. I'm still wearing a foam pad under my binder for additional compression which is working at reducing my swelling. I'm pretty much off my pain meds. Only taking maybe 1 pill a day my doctor was impressed at how great I'm healing.

how are you sleeping? are you laying on your back, and if so, is it affecting the fat transfer to the butt area? my surgery is next month and I have been worried about this.

Sleeping on my side switching sides every 2-3 hours. Just have to be mindful of my breasts because they're still tender from the lift. So initially I slept with 6 pillows including a body pillow. (Under my knees behind me and in front of me tucked under my stomach) I was pretty much in a pillow cocoon. Now I'm down to just 2 (under my head and my body pillow) everyday gets better. The binder is the worse because my waist is so small and my butt is pretty big. So it cuts into my back thankfully i got it off today.

I sat up today on my own.

Today was the first day I was able to sit up with little to no help. I my incision under my right breast is slightly opening. Surprisingly it doesn't hurt at all. I have my post op appt tomorrow with my PS. My pain ball is almost done so I will be getting that removed tomorrow as well. I don't know if my pain level in my TT incision area will increase. I will post an update tomorrow.

It's done

So I'm on my 2nd day post op. My doctor and team were amazing I stayed in the hospital for 1 day. Dr. Thornton removed 6 liters of fat so I have to drink a gallon of water a day to replenish. I could not do
This without the support of my boyfriend he has turned into my personal nurse. My breasts feel fine, my tummy tuck incision is sensitive but not too painful. The binder makes it a hard to move. I also had partial fat transfer to my butt. So that's sore to in a couple spots. Hands down the lipo areas are the most painful spots. I'll post pics on Monday after my post op appointment with my PS.

I am scheduled for a mommy makeover and lipo of flanks on 3/9. I'm most worried about the TT incision! But you note the lipo spot hurts more? Where was your lipo? Btw - congrats on crossing to the flat side!

My doctor placed a pain pump in the area of the tummy tuck which numbs my nerves so I'm not sure if that's why the pain is reduced there. I had lipo of the flanks, upper thigh, and back. So perhaps it was the amount I had but it makes it difficult to turn. But it's definitely the most painful part. Today is better then yesterday though so I believe it's well worth it.

So glad you are feeling better every day!! I am rooting for all of these lovely ladies who choose to share stories. And I'm so rooting for you! Thank you for sharing your journey! I'm doing lipo on flanks and upper back so I am hopeful it will be ok (or good in a short period of time). Happy healing!
