I'm am 45 and I weigh 222 and my height is 5'5 and I have a lot of back problems I'm really started to think my breast are to big so that's why I'm truly thinking of having breast reduction for health reasons I would like some feed back rather it's good or bad thank you again I haven't had the procedure done yet

i am of a very similar build to you, had my br last week and definitely worth it. I discussed cup size with my surgeon who suggested not to go to small as it will look out of proportion to your body, I was a 38H down to a D cup, at the mo very swollen but was up and about after 3 days. One recommendation I would say tho is stay one night in hospital, definitely worth it to get the extra drugs and help without being a burden on the family!

Hi I am having a breast reduction in under a weeks time as I too have terrible pain due to the size of my breasts. Follow my journey as I will update with pics after surgery.

Bad posture due to your breast overload could present a problem. Go with what your surgeon says. They usually know what is needed. God Bless.

Please review my profile, I had my reduction in May and have never been happier. All my headaches and pains associated to my large breast are gone. I love my breast and they are great looking and just the right size for my frame. My most important suggestion is to really be diligent in selecting your plastic surgeon. Be 150% sure of your choice and make sure that you both have a complete understanding of your expectations.

Quit smoking before your surgery. Nicotine inhibits the healing process. I used to a smoker and switched to vapor cigs. There isn't any difference because nicotine is the problem. It's not worth going through the whole procedure and recovery and pain if you don't give it the best possible chance for a great outcome. Having the BR have me incentive to look better in every aspect. I love clothes shopping and I am getting fit and losing weight and have increased my activity level. Besides you won't want to smoke after you have beautiful new higher breast because nicotine breaks down elastin and that can contribute to saggy breast. You'll want them to look good for a very long time.

For me it's been the best decision ever. I think you should definitely do it! I have had an excellent experience and everytime I see a large chested woman I just want to give them my surgeons card! If you want it - then go for it! Look around for a decent surgeon . X

Yes... I had mine reduced 7 years ago.... And now I want implants. I had two kids since I got them reduced. Gained and lost some weight and now I need them fluffier. But it is so worth it
