I am feeling extremely upset as I write this review. I had such high hopes from his dr after reading her reviews on realself . In fact I had decided that if she does a good job I would do a rhinoplasty with her in the future
. I had gone to her for a HA dermal filler in the nose (I have done this 4times previously with other docs so know the procedure well ). She messed up my nose !! She hit an artery and did not even realize it . I had put makeup on and her office lights are really dim (surprising for a place where procedures are done) ,so even I didn't realize . I came home feeling groggy and in pain but thought it's just bec of usual swelling . As soon as I washed my makeup off , to my horror I saw that the place where she had infected had blanched and turned stark white like a ghost !! Yep, my worst fears had come true . She had occluded my blood vessel . Had I not caught it in time , I would have got necrosis and lost my nose !!!! I panicked and called her . She called me back to her office and dissolved it with more infections ,ouch!!! (I gave one star for this . She seemed worried and came back to office after hours & she refunded me . Also , she's pleasant to talk to ) . Well my nose has now healed but the horror will stay in my mind and il never trust these reviews again!

Thank you for your comments. Yes, vascular compromise is the dreaded risk of non-surgical rhinoplasty. Although it is exceedingly rare, the risk is not zero. The key to avoiding necrosis is proper treatment after-the-fact, and frequent communication in the ensuing weeks (which thankfully, we were able to accomplish). This is the reason that you should always ALWAYS be sure that your injector knows how to handle this complication, whether they have ever experienced it first hand or not, and is equipped to do so, stocking hyaluronidase in their office. You absolutely did the right thing in contacting me as soon as you were concerned, and I'm glad we were able to meet immediately, 9pm that same evening, to dissolve the filler, and implement proper treatment to avoid serious complications. I have performed many non-surgical rhinoplasties (multiple per week) without any issues at all, and while I hope never to have another issue, your experience reinforces the fact that early intervention is essential. It's easy for us to minimize the seriousness of injections, and it's important for patients (and surgeons) to remember that non-surgical does not mean without risk. Best to you, and thank you for sharing your experience.

Non surgical nose jobs are pretty risky, I would never get one

Even the best surgeons can have issues like this. Seems like she handled it amazing though.
