Hello ladies,

Since i have not been on here for quite a while. I had some surgeries in 2013 that has really set me back some. Partial hysterectomy and a removal of one ovary has been a process for me. It is now one year later and i am ready to go forward with my surgery. My beloved husband decided instead of buying me jewelry or perfume that he would pay for my tummy tuck surgery and also a butt lift. This is the most wonderful thing anyone has ever done for me and i am so humble, words cannot describe. My daughter will be getting married this coming october in dominica republic and i want my body to be at its best for her and her special day.
I will be 50 years old in february and i am tired of seeing my body the way it is and am detemine to make drastic changes to me so i can get back to feeling sexy. Hope all of you that had your surgery is coming along well. I will be scheduling my surgery for June but first i have to do a consultation with a plastic surgeon. Has anyone in NYC have a doctor that they can recommend to me for this.

Okay ladies, so i have not been on here for almost two years this month. So much has happened since the last time. I had to have a partial hysterectomy back in January 2013 and then one of my ovaries had to be removed last october. It has been a hell of a year. God has been with me through it all. I traveled last christmas and went home (barbados) to visit my family and it was so relaxing and enjoyable that i cannot wait to go back next year. Anyway, i am once again looking into getting a TT with muscle repair. I will be seeking Dr.Perkins at NYEE to do the procedure for me. I have been dreaming of this day for about two years now and through all my struggles and all the things that i had to postpone the road was leading me here. I guess i felt really bad but somehow god knew that back then was not the right time for me. Anyway,. i have to make an appointment for the consultation i have called NYEE but no one has gotten back to me as of yet. I am thinking of doing the surgery the end of september latest october so that i can be up and about around christmas time. For the ladies going in and about to go in, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Until next time

Hello ladies..Hope eveyone is enjoying the summer weather. I have not been on here for a long time due to the fact that i have been working and going through a lot at home and with my health. I have officially put my TT on an indefinite hold...I recently went to my gyn for my annual check up(but first let me take you back to three years)...I was diagnosed with cyst back in 2009, had surgery to remove it, since ihave this phobia about foreign things in my body(go figure) :-)...anyhoo then one year later diagnosed with fibroids along with heavy bleeding, pelvic pain and severe cramping. My gyn (what a wonderful and understanding person) and i had a consultation in regards to the bleeding and pain, we both agreed to try the HTA procedure last spring hoping that that would alleviate the problem, so i had that done in March of 2011 thinking that just maybe i would be in the 75% not to have heavy bleeding but oh no..three months later period back with a venegance...:-(.So now, i went and did a transvaginal ultrasoud, the findings were the following two cyst attached to my ovaries and a submucosal fibroids that is in the lining of the uterus and an intramural fibroid in the wall of the uterus...i have two options UFE or Myomectomy...the ufe is done with a radiologist and then he shoots pellets in your vein to shrink the fibroids,oh and by the way the pellets stay in your body!!!! Yikesss!!!! i have a MRI scheduled for June 26th so we can better grasp the situation. I know that this a TT forum but i just need to get this off my chest, i have spoken with my mom,daughters and they are understanding but for some reason hubby is not grasping the situation to the fullest...i have become very depressed, hardly talk to anyone and the worst is that i just started this job and now i have to leave it because i will have to be at home for about two weeks...Thanks for allowing me to vent!!! Hope you ladies are all healing nicely and those going in good luck and speedy recovery!!!! I will return sometime soon...my TT (god's willing) will still be performed by my original doctor and the price will stay the same when i am ready to do it....will keep everyone informed once this chapter is finished...Cheers for now!!!!
