Can't believe I finally did it! Was having second thoughts all the way to the OR, but I know it's been something I've always wanted so I was able to go through with it. I did not get the tubaligation done, I decided to just do the tummy tuck.
I requested the exparel injection, so it made things more comfortable. I've seen my sister during her tt recovery a couple of years ago, she did not get the injection & I can tell that my first couple of days was much better than what she experienced. It was still a bit uncomfortable, felt pain, but I'm sure not like it should be. It even hurt to breath the first 2 days.
im still not walking completely straight, but almost there. I didn't experience the lower back pains most women complained about. I spend most of my time on a recliner, it's much more comfortable than sleeping on the bed.
I was told not to take off the garment during the first week until I see the doctor in 2 days.
Can't wait until the swelling goes down and see the results!

My surgery is in about a month. I chose Dr. Morrison because of the good online reviews, and his after photos are the best I've seen in the area.
He suggested a couple of doctors from Lawrence Hospital to perform the tubaligation. The biggest challenge was to find a doctor that's willing to do the procedure along with a tt, and to be able to get both doctors together for surgery.
I've met with with both doctors separately, and feel like I'm in good hands.
Just can't wait to get it done.
