Day 1 post op

I don't know if it is because my body has high tolerance to pain, but I slept fine and I woke up fine. I only experienced some discomfort. I would describe it as a bad period pain or swelling. I didn't need any pain medication such as oxy. I feel I am fine with only Bayer Extra strength. Also, I love the way my body heals. I am styling swollen, but I have no bruises. My stomach is very smooth too. I can't wait for the puffiness to go away. I received my compression garment today from Amazon. Hopefully it helps with the swelling.

Day of surgery

Hello. I had my surgery today with Dr.Kim. The procedure took about 2 hours. I was really nervous and Dr. Kim offered me some Xanax, which helped.I was under local anesthesia but I had some occasional pain. What hurt the most was when he injected the numbing solution. I have to say despite the pain Dr.Kim bedside manners are very good. Has for the results. I am still very sore and swollen, but I am seeing some result. The pain coming out is not that bad. It feels like sever period and I am very sore after a heavy physical activity. I was prescribed Oxy (which I am very wary of taking. We know the horror stories) and antibiotics. One minor complaint that I have is that I wasn't told to buy my own compression garment. If I knew I could have order one days prior. Instead, I just now ordered one from Amazon. Last thing: I was scared about the state of my skin after the surgery (loose skin). However, my belly skin looks just the same.

Hello ladies (and gentlemen)
I just want to start by saying how helpful this site and the reviews have been in my research on liposuction. That is why I have decided to share my experience with people who are thinking on having plastic surgery.I am getting liposuction on my stomach, flanks and thighs (second surgery) tomorrow (April 14 2017). My PS is Doctor Tae Ho Kim of West village Plastic Surgery. I met him a week ago at his office where he explained to me in detail how the procedure will be like. Dr. Kim was very nice and made me fill very comfortable. I will be getting tumescent liposuction and will be put under local anesthesia. I have to say I am very nervous. I am concerned that I will see no results ( thus wasting money), loose skin (even though Dr.Kim said I have good skin elasticity). But mostly I am scared on the pain ????. I will post another update tomorrow after the surgery. Wish me luck. ?

Dr. Kim took the time to explain the procedure and answer our questions. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I will post further updates after the procedure.
