So I got a tattoo in the village (NYC) when I was 16. It's terrible LOL. I finally convinced myself to start removal and it's amazing! I feel super liberated and the progress is sooooo good. Also, it is not as painful as getting a tattoo, sorry not sorry. It feels like a thin rubber-band flicking you over and over. It is not some crazy painful thing. It is super expensive. I opted for a payment plan. I'm sure if it was bigger I would be paying more. I'm paying around $3500 (I'm rounding up) for 13 sessions.I was told the yellow in the star cannot be removed. I don't care because I have a pretty yellow skin tone. The pink will mostttt likelyyy nottt come out. I might not go through with all 13 sessions.

What type of laser is being used? 13 treatments seems excessive based on the size and qualitly of the tattoo but I don't have any official point of reference for saying that other than just from what I've read on this site. Did they say why the yellow can't be removed (I can't even see yellow in the tattoo based on the pictures). I know it's a more difficult color but I've been reading that it can definitely be removed with the right laser. I have a new, heavily colored tattoo that I'm having doubts about. If it costs $3500 and 13 treatments to remove yours then I probably have no hope.

It’s 2 lasers- alternating between Picosure and Revlite- I was told 13 for full removal- everything gone or as close to gone as possible- but I’m thinking I’ll determine how I feel as I go on- if it looks great after 6 sessions then I’ll call it quits- the yellow is just in the star- it’s very light and I’m pretty yellow anyway so I’m not very concerned with that- yellow/orange/red are just tougher colors to remove- they didn’t say it wouldn’t be removed just that it’s difficult to remove- also I’m probably getting a cover up so for me it’s not as relevant- I think those colors are less visible to lasers but don’t quote me on that- I’m no expert- don’t loose hope based on my review!! this site made me feel comfortable to take the plunge- make appointments for some consultations and see what they tell you! Also love I’m in NYC and [RS bleep] is just expensive here- go talk to come places and see how you feel!!
