One Treatment - And She's Gone! The tattoo that is!

$189
I had one treatment two weeks ago, and miracle of miracles, the tattoo is completely gone! Yes the skin is still a little pink (although my hand is pretty tanned) and I hope it heals and will be back to normal, but I'd deal with the pink over the tattoo any day of the week. Funny that the folks at Tataway warned me that fingers may take a long time because of the circulation issues, and the fact that I smoke (I know, I know) would probably increase the amount of time for the tattoo to disappear by 40-70%. Can't wait to show them at my "second" appointment on July 18th. I bought a Groupon for three sessions. Who knew?

I don't know about you, but I think the Universe/God/the Powers that be had a lot to do with this. And I am ever so grateful! :)

That's awesome!! This is a perfect example of how everybody responds differently and that this treatment is not a one size fits all.

Congrats!! Please keep us posted on your hypopigmentation, I am certain it will resolve over time.
Thanks so much!!! I will keep everyone posted. :)

Could this really be?

Is the "K" completely gone??? Can someone tell me if they have had this experience after just one treatment? Is this just a tease and the "K" will show itself again? In all the research I've done, I have not seen this happen one time.

Hey! :) Well, I have seen amazing results after just 1 treatment on a very old tattoos. If it is gone, it is gone, I think. Give it more time as it is still healing. Are you using any oil or cream as after care? Aftercare is very important. I am using aloe Vera and bio oil. Really helps skin as non of us want to end up with brutal scarring. Anyways, keep healing, don't forget after care and hopefully, after you healed, this chapter will be finished for you completely! Good luck!
Thanks so much for your comment. I'm actually not using anything but the balm they gave me after the procedure. Do you use aloe vera directly from the plant? I really appreciate your advice.
I just bought it in Vitamin world in a store. It is aloe Vera gel. You can check somewhere in my profile I have a picture of what I am using. I just suggested it to you so not up end up with scars. As after care is very important as much as the treatment itself. On the picture I can see that the skin is too pink (again I am not a doctor, so this is just my opinion and what I would do), so I would apply so cream to the area to help it heal.
Also, let the scabs fall themselves. Just apply cream and let it heal. It is not recommended to try to speed up the process by tear the scabs off or skin (forgot how to say it on English :))
Yes I agree that the skin is very pink as the scab just came off maybe an hour ago but also, my hands are very tanned at the moment. I will take your advice. But truly, I am just so amazed at the results, I am on cloud 9! Thank you again!!! :)
It is amazing :) a relief right? :) Try not to put this part under direct sunlight or apply cream with high SPF. As after treatment the skin is very gentle. Hope it helps!
Thanks so much Marisska. I truly appreciate the lack of judgment and sound advice. :)
Always :) as I like to say we are in this together :)
Look at the bright side! Now instead of the horrible ex, you can temporarily claim membership in the "IRA" until it all falls off :) In my opinion, that is MUCH better. PS- I have a tattoo of my ex on my finger too. Waiting for a q-switched 1064nm picosecond laser to do it, but debating going with Picosure.
I couldn't do Picosure because of my skin tone. But my ex's name... it is completely gone... skin is still a little pink and while I hope it will heal well, I'd rather it be pink then have the souvenir from a torturous relationship. Thanks for your comment!
Hahaha Just got the joke about IRA. :)
Hehe :) Grats on the huge progress. You are super lucky!
Thanks so much. I feel super lucky!! :)

Day 10

So my tattoo is looking a little crazy. It has finally started to scab (I hope this is a good thing) after blistering over and over and over again for the past week. I really don't know what is under those scabs but something looks very different. The letters kind of look smaller and thinner but maybe its just the way it is healing? It is still tender to the touch. Is that normal? Can't wait for session number two!!
