WORTH IT$5,000
Had smartlipo on Friday, October 21. Most challenging part of the procedure was the administration of the local anesthesia, which was quite painful at points. Also a few "ouch!"
moments when the doctor was near the edge of the area that was numb. Trip home was uncomfortable as the blood-tinged numbing agenda was leaking out. Maxi pads became soaked very quickly so a bit was leaking down my legs, and soaked my clothes during the cab ride home. Had a towel underneath me so as not to make a mess on the seat! I was advised to eat a full meal as soon after the procedure as possible, but couldn't keep anything down and vomited everything up. The first night was difficult, slept for an hour at a time, and woke up to really bad dizziness--walking to bathroom required my holding onto the walls. By the next day, felt quite okay--drank copious amounts of water, which I think is helping flush out the remainder of the anesthesia. Only issue was lots of "brain fog." Just taking the antibiotic that doctor prescribed, and one round of Tylenol extra strength. Today is the second day after surgery--a little stiff, sore, and bruised, but feel okay. Took a shower which helped feel more normal. The only challenge with the shower was the stinging sensation when water from the shower hit the incisions. Planning to return to work tomorrow and will see how the day goes.

Already see a difference
New York5251October 24, 2016
My procedure was on Friday, today is Monday and I am heading back to the office. I already see a difference and feel it in my clothes--a size 14 dress that was skin tight prior to the procedure is hanging ever so comfortably. With the swelling that was predicted I was afraid my clothes would be too tight in the weeks following the procedure--that hadn't been the case...yet. Here's hoping the trend continues.

Love the trend of comfy lose clothes. Happy healing

I feel good! A little sore on my butt and somewhat stiff--the compression garments make rising from a prone position tough sometimes, but nothing intolerable really!

The one the surgeon's office provided, and a waist trainer on top of that for now. I will eventually switch to my post-Lipo garments from Colombia.

And when you can zip a jacket that hasn't fit for two years--just in time for the autumn frost...

How's your recovery been? Great news on the jacket.

Thanks, Ad Girl. The recovery has truly been much easier than I expected. Had my procedure on a Friday, rested over the weekend, kept very well hydrated, and out the door as normal for work on Monday : ) Are you excited about your upcoming procedure? Looking forward to following your progress!

Getting excited. Wish is was over with already. Kind of know what to expect because of my Tummy Tuck with lipo a year ago. Every area is different so hoping for no swell hell for me. Taking photos of my back is hard to do. I want photos to document my journey. I'm happy I have the photos from the TT transformation. Happy healing to you and new clothes soon.

Compression is the key to successful results.. U have to stay compressed day and night.. also invest in a lipo board and start using it after 2 weeks it's helps a lot.. try not to sit for long periods because you're gonna get that fold and bulge in your belly..also when the lumps start coming get u a rolling pin and roll the upward toward your heart.. good luck

Arnica gel massaged using little circles will help break up that pesky lump for you. I had a few that I had to massage out too. Happy continued healing.
Had my first lymphatic massage today - it was not a walk in the park, but I hear it aids in recovery.
Same to you!
No for the healing to begin.
