Dr. Khan of Laser Touch Aesthetics (White Plains and New York City) was very transparent about what to expect and what the challenging aspects of the procedure might be. He is professional and very accessible, even sharing his personal cell phone number should any issues or questions arise. He has performed more than 3000 of these procedures and had been doing so for the last ten years.

Looking good lady! Do you have pre op pics available?
October 29, 2016
Thank you! I will see what I can find. If I do not find anything that shows the area well, I will ask my surgeon's office to send me the ones they took.

Good afternoon. That for sharing ur story. I am booked for my procedure with dr.khan later this month. How is the recovery coming along for you? And advise you and offer me?

How exciting! I found him very forthcoming with what to expect and I am very happy with the results. The worst part for me was the injection of the numbing agent--painful at points. Not unbearable but a few moments of holy ouch!!! If I go back for additional procedures, I will definitely ask for a "chill pill" a few hours prior to take the edge off. Recovery has been terrific--procedure on Friday back to work on Monday. The women who assist him are phenomenal--friendly, upbeat and they know what they are doing. The first night I had some nausea and vertigo--but that was gone by the next day. I drank lots of water afterwards which I think helped minimize swelling. Best of luck to you!!!

Thanks for responding. I will definitely inquire about the "chill pill." one of my major concerns is the possibility of the "cottage cheese" effect under my skin. Did u experience that? And if u didn't how did u prevent it from happening? Did you get any lymphatic message after your procedure. Last but not least, Are u still swollen?
December 7, 2016
I didn't experience the cottage cheese effect, but I do still have a swollen ball of "stuff" mid-abdomen. When I saw Dr. Khan for my follow-up appointment, he explained it was blood and fat that "settles" as a result of sitting all day in my office. He advised that I vigorously push at it on a regular basis so as to speed up the process of getting rid of it. It will subside of its own accord, but without intervention (my massaging it) that can take six months.

Oh okay, I remember he mentioned that could happen. Thanks again for answering all of my questions. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!

And when you can zip a jacket that hasn't fit for two years--just in time for the autumn frost...

How's your recovery been? Great news on the jacket.

Thanks, Ad Girl. The recovery has truly been much easier than I expected. Had my procedure on a Friday, rested over the weekend, kept very well hydrated, and out the door as normal for work on Monday : ) Are you excited about your upcoming procedure? Looking forward to following your progress!

Getting excited. Wish is was over with already. Kind of know what to expect because of my Tummy Tuck with lipo a year ago. Every area is different so hoping for no swell hell for me. Taking photos of my back is hard to do. I want photos to document my journey. I'm happy I have the photos from the TT transformation. Happy healing to you and new clothes soon.

Compression is the key to successful results.. U have to stay compressed day and night.. also invest in a lipo board and start using it after 2 weeks it's helps a lot.. try not to sit for long periods because you're gonna get that fold and bulge in your belly..also when the lumps start coming get u a rolling pin and roll the upward toward your heart.. good luck

Thanks for the good advice--your results are great--you look fabulous!

Already see a difference

New York5251
My procedure was on Friday, today is Monday and I am heading back to the office. I already see a difference and feel it in my clothes--a size 14 dress that was skin tight prior to the procedure is hanging ever so comfortably. With the swelling that was predicted I was afraid my clothes would be too tight in the weeks following the procedure--that hadn't been the case...yet. Here's hoping the trend continues.

Love the trend of comfy lose clothes. Happy healing

Thank you

How are you feeling now?
October 26, 2016
I feel good! A little sore on my butt and somewhat stiff--the compression garments make rising from a prone position tough sometimes, but nothing intolerable really!
October 26, 2016
What type of garment are you wearing ?
October 26, 2016
The one the surgeon's office provided, and a waist trainer on top of that for now. I will eventually switch to my post-Lipo garments from Colombia.
