My first nose job was at 16 years old in England....

My first nose job was at 16 years old in England. Unfortunately, I had my fathers looks and had inherited his nose. It was too big for my face, I had a huge bump and so my mum had agreed I needed a nose job. After the nose job, I didn't realize that the next 15 years I would still be walking around with an awful nose but instead with the opposite problem. My nose was very small, very sunken, the bridge was scooped and from severe scarring my nose was very pinched in. I discovered fillers and thought I had fixed the problem but the fillers would disappear almost immediately because of the scarring. There was nothing for the fillers to 'sit on' so given a few weeks and they would start to dissolve. I looked weird and I carried this thought with me everywhere I went. Friends and boyfriends would always ask me what was wrong with my nose, what had happened? an ex-boyfriend made fun of it and I felt so bad about myself. I became more and more insecure. I also worried that if I got another nose job it would turn out bad again and so choosing a doctor was another challenge. Other than the appearance of my nose, my breathing was terrible, I have bad allergies and would always get colds. Having a bad nose (for those of you who can relate) is awful. It is the centre of your face, it is the first thing people see, I started to become a little with drawn, I didn't want to go out as much and just stay at home and hide. My confidence had reached an all time low.

I had heard of Dr. Sam Rizk through a friend. It took me a year to get the courage to book an appointment for a consultation. Again, I had this over whelming fear that I would have another bad experience. On the day of my consultation I was really nervous. I was thinking, what if he tells me there's nothing he could do? That didn't happen. He told me everything that needed to be fixed and how he could do it. He told me I had a deviated septum and my nose was also collapsed inside. From that consultation, I not only felt calmer and more at ease but excited that this could come to an end. That I could talk to people and not think 'are they staring at this mess in the center of my face!'

I felt very comfortable and trusted that he would do a good job. I decided to go ahead and actually do it!!! weirdly though, all of my earlier worries had gone. Dr. Rizk and his staff are exceptional. Very friendly, informative and patient. The rest just flew by.

My pain threshold hold is zero. When I woke up from surgery I didn't feel pain and was amazed that I was breathing through my nose! I just couldn't believe it! I had my splint removed just 6 days later, I had no bruising but I was swollen. I am starting to see the initial swelling go down. What I really appreciated was that when I had the splint taken off, Dr. Rizk came in to talk to me and made sure I was feeling ok and happy. The first time I had Rhinoplasty I only saw the nurse and then I couldn't even get a follow up appointment. So, I never saw that doctor again! Again, Dr. Rizk took the time to answer any more questions I may have had.

I am very happy with the results, it's hard to believe that my nose could ever look like this. Especially after a week?!?!?! He also sculpted my nose to fit my face better, he just did an amazing job! I am very impressed with how accommodating him and his staff were and how they really take care of you. I was so nervous about getting this done and I was made to feel very comfortable throughout the whole experince. He also wants me to go back in four months for a check up, again, my previous doctor never saw me again!

Choosing a doctor to fix what another doctor has made a mess off is very hard. It is important to me that I stress how amazing Dr. Rizk is because I am so happy with my result. I know this is the last nose job I will be getting done, the thoughts and feelings about my nose can now finally be forgotten! I really recommend Dr.Rizk. I am so happy with his work, there is nothing I didn't like about this whole experience. Him and his staff are exceptional and I am beyond thankful!
