WORTH IT$12,000
I honestly couldn't be happier with my results, I was a bit nervous at first due to the bad rep Sam has with african american patients but In the end I went with him because I really didn't want to travel out of state to get the job done lol. I had 2 operations by the way, rhinoplasty by sam and a lower lid blepharoplasty by a different surgeon whom I can't remember the name of at the moment.

You look amazing... How was the procedure as far the healing ? I am really hoping to go with Dr. Rizk for my surgery in Dec. I feel he has the skills , to tackle ethnic noses. Your nose is very similar to mine. What exactly did you ask to be done ?
September 22, 2013
I'll try to post was new pictures soon, I've just been so busy with college lol, as for the healing it's pretty much completely healed now and there is no scaring at all. When I first went for my consultation I asked him to raise my bridge, slim down my nasal bone and project my tip and he did exactly that.

Wow... you look amazing. Did you also ask him to narrow the base of your nose ? Thats one of my main concerns, bring the nose in ,(width wise) and you paid $12,000 for everything. Did he ask for all the $$ upfront was there payment , plans etc ? Thanks for replying back to me :) its hard to find current ppl with ethnic noses, who has had the surgery and also with a doctor your interested in, So any information updates is really helpful. :))

Thanks and no I didn't ask him to narrow the base because when he puts the grafts in to project the tip it automatically narrows the base also. I paid in pieces with a payment plan, a down payment of $2,000 and a few hundred every month. To get the best results I'd suggest you ask for the 3D imaging scan when you go to the consultation, that's what I got. They show you what your nose will look like before you even get the operation.

Wow. ok thats what I will do. Let me ask, you was there a black receptionist there when you went for your consultation or surgery ? I made my appt with her, and she actually got her nose done by him also, she sent me pics and she looks gorgeous. Ok, so you did like a payment plan? Did you use , care credit or something or did he make the arrangements to pay on his own system ? I will def, ask for the 3D scan .. Again you look amazing. How have you felt since getting it done ? Do you freak out when you look in the mirror like is this me ? lol Or, do you still see you but enhanced on so many levels? OH, after the surgery how many days did you get your splint off? And, did you have a lot of swelling /black blue marks ? Were you able to go in public ?

I can't really recall which receptionist I spoke too lol. I did use a payment plan but I didn't have any help from insurance or anything, I had already saved up enough money for the procedure so I was ready to pay up front but I decided to gradually pay it off so if anything went wrong I'd be their top priority since I still owe them :). Just ask for a payment plan and they'll ask you for a down payment of $1-2,000 and then you'd just have to pay a hundred or so every month. Thanks again a lot of people think I look a lot better too but they can't put their finger on what I changed lol. I got my splints taken out within 2 weeks or so. I had some slight swelling around the eyes and cheeks but they weren't discolored, it went down before I got my splints taken out tho. I could've went out in public but I didn't since I didn't really need to, I was on vacation from college so I didn't have anything else to do but heal up lol.

kelvin , please when you get a chance posts updated pics.. going for my consult tomorrow. so Im super excited... also who did the lower eye surgery for you ? And what did that consist of ? costs & pain wise ? It looks terrific also.

Ok I'll to post some updated pics soon :), I got the eyelid operation done by Dr. Steven Pearlman in nyc also and it costed around 1800 if I remember correctly. I was sleeping so I'm not really sure what the operation consisted of and that's probably for the best lol once you know what the doctors are going to be doing to you, you start to question whether you really want it or not, after thought the pain was minimal I just had some small bandages under my eyes for 3 days or so and I was able to continue my normal day to day activity.

Fabulous new look! Thanks for sharing on RealSelf! Any tips for recovery that you can share with others?
November 3, 2013
My recovery was rather straight forward :), I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so the soreness in my face didn't bother me much and it only lasted 3 days, I was stopped using pain kills after the soreness subsided. I was able to return to work after the first week.

Whoa!! You look terrific... I was looking at your first pics and was like okay I know his nose is amazing.. but your eyes look great too.. made a great difference. Im thinking of doing a filler , for the eyes. Hoping Dr.Rizk does fillers. I would like to be knocked out for everything!! lolol Let me ask you did you get the eyes done before or after the nose ? That's one thing I wanted to know as far as separating procedures.. what was the time frame in between each surgery? You look terrific. so happy for you. Pray I saying this , at the end of the year.. Tomorrow is my Consultation. so im nervous smhh

Saw a review from someone on the rhino board ,and it got me nervous or doubting my choice, but now I see you again and im hopefull. she said she didn't have a good experience w. Rizk, very arrogant, she only had 3 min with him , and the worst part don't like her nose.. I felt terrible after reading that. I don't know, I guess its just a preference thing or luck . What I do see, is he does have more positive reviews than negative.

I got the nose job first since it does swell up your face a bit, it just made sense to get the eyelid operation after the swelling went down and It's not really a luck thing lol, more than likely anyone that doesn't like the nose they end up with after a operation it was probably their fault for not drilling exactly what they want into the doctor's head. Just make sure you let him know what you DON'T want and what you DO want.

November 4, 2013
Right...YOUR absolutely right ! And that's what I asked this girl , on here today. since she had a bad review. I said did you TELL him EXACTLY what you wanted ?? smhhh I agree.. because, if you say what you want , confidently and sure they should get it. ok ,so you did your eye lid surgery afterwards... thank you soooooo much . you look off the hook. lolol sorry to be repetitious but , kudos to you !! I will keep you updated on my journey as well. thanks again.
