To the doc's credit, my expectations were too high...
To the doc's credit, my expectations were too high and largely undefined going in. The projection, size, etc. came out the way it was planned. I just didn't put enough thought into it. I suggest anyone getting work to know exactly what they want and let it marinate for a while. Don't rush in. Objectively, the nose looks great. He also scheduled me for a free revision for the problem with my valve collapse. He acted very concerned when he saw it and offered to fix it right away. He's a good doctor, I'm just not sure I was prepared for the emotional trauma of going through with a rhinoplasty. All in all, I look better today than when I came in.
I had alar reduction and bulbous tip work done,...
I had alar reduction and bulbous tip work done, but now my nostrils are too narrow and cause external valve collapse. The tip is pushed up too much from the graft they put in to project it. Also my bridge is too narrow...making the tip look more bulbous; when in reality, it is smaller than it was.
