One thing I can say: with the implant in the bridge the nose looks very, very long:-(

I feel the same way. My surgeon used my own bone instead of an implant. It was very long but now (6 1/2 weeks later) it has settled down and looks much better. I was looking like an alien or reptile before. I've heard of some ppl having the implant removed because they couldn't get use to the long look. I was sad about it too and I was going to have a revision but my doctor said it will go down even more and he said I need to relax because I can't get a revision for a year.

I am sorry for the waiting for an update.
I need some more days to write all my dissapointing experience down.
I now can only tell you that Dr. S. did a very poor job. He charged me for a complicated revision rhinoplasty and he didnt fix the issues i had. He opened the nose, let it crooked, let my septum deviated without straightening it, did not broke my bone to straightening it like he said to me during the consultation, he did not removed the scar tissues, he dist fIX my ineverted v...He did nothing of that what surgeons do during a revision rhinoplasty....Only put his implant on it and some cartilage on my tip which is pushing too much through my thin skin. I also had big problems with my sew on my columella.
I wrote him he should remove the implant. He said he wont, he said i dont need a revision and if I really want one i should pay again. I said him he should give my the HALF of my money back to have the chance to go to a honest and skilled surgeon who can save my nose. He doesnt want to....Shame on you, Dr.S!!!! Should I pay again for what you should have done on the first place???????? Why did you do this to me? Why did you not work correct on me?
The computer simulation was very nice. The nose was straight...and what do i have now? The morph is a JOKE!!!

Another plastic surgeon from New York will remove my implant but he wants to make it live on TV. It is all organised. He will remove the implant and another sort of implant from other patients nose. My lawyer will also be there to discuss about the case.
It is sad what happend to me. Dr. S was my big hope and finally my trip to New York turned to a nightmare.
If he gives me my money back, I will never go to court and i will never go in TV.
But he wouldnt...so wish me luck...

I am so so so beyond sorry to hear about your experience!!! I was planning on having him do my third surgery as well. And now i'm extremely hesitant! Which other New York doctor will you be seeing? Do you mind sharing? Because I also did a consultation with Dr. S, and he said he was going to put an implant in as well.
