WORTH IT$50
I've been using retin-a for years ( tretinoin) I love it. It works wonders- I take breaks from it during the summer just because I'm outside more. I've been using the micro for the last few years it's great. I think it works better than the cream. I had the peeling and redness when I started on the micro but it went away. I had read a review where someone was using it on their neck, why I never thought of this I don't know but I tried it and I used it on my chest as well- there was so much redness because of all the sun damage but I kept with it. You could definitely tell it was working and repairing the damaged skin. All that lasted about 5 months, then it all became smooths. My neck skin looks so much younger as well. I wish I would have thought to take before pics but I had never planned to write a review of it. I'm 48 and no one ever thinks I'm this old - I'm planning on having a facelift, lower bleph and lateral brow lift in feb of 2017- I'll definitely take pictures and do a review about that!

Your cost said 50 dollars can I where you purchase your Retin A, usually it's in the hundreds.

That is my cost with insurance- you can not by prescription strength over the counter- retinol is over the counter strength- skincueticals makes a really good retinol

@carlydavis it's a pump and a bit stronger- it's not a cream- you can google it and get more info-

Looking forward to your review. I found your retin A review helpful. I'm in Australia and have just started a prescription of 0.5%. No problems on my neck or face, except skin looks 10 years older at the moment. No peeling or redness, just looks "wrinklier" than it was. My chest however has had all the worst reactions combined. Red, stinging and about to peel. I've only just started my third week and it's winter which means I'm hibernating anyway, so easy to stay out of the sun since it doesn't exist. Hoping I don't have to wait a year for results. How long did you use retin A before taking breaks in summer? Also how long did you have a break from using it? The whole season or did you just use less? Hoping you can help with these questions. Congratulations on the lift. Lots of members waiting to see the new you, although I think we are all in agreement we hope you haven't changed too much.

Thanks, I will sometimes go the whole summer without using it. I’m back in Florida now so I’ve not used it as much as when I was living up north. I still love it though and will never stop. I’ll post some pictures soon. I’ve honestly been busy with a new job and somewhat lazy. I’m trying to decide whether or not to post all the pics from the day after surgery to now, or just a before and after. I still look the same, just better :)

Good for you - although I didn't think you need one - :) Also which retin micro do you use. And I know what you mean regards the next - Mines looks awful.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new you, too! I'm having a mini facelift soon, if everything goes right (I haven't got the clearance yet). Once that's over, I'm going to try retin-a, you've convinced me!
