I've been courting you for over a year! I've hungrily, and even greedily, devoured so much of your being; oftentimes, until way past 2am when all the world is asleep, including my two rambunctious kids...Your ups and downs, the before and after, the "I'm so scared to "I'm so ready for this" without sharing a single piece of me. Tonight I take the plunge into the RealSelf community, who I have grown to love over the past 1+ year, by sharing a bit of myself... Never considered a classic beauty, I relied on my naturally athletic and toned body to "get my foot in the door" of the world. In addition, motherhood has given me so much elated pleasure and BAGS! Bags under my eyes from sleepless nights to A cup boobies that resemble deflated balloons and a tummy that looks like a crimpled hefty bag. This year, 2014, I vow to get rid of this excess baggage and float with a brand new set of natural looking 350 ccs.

Blessed with a loving husband and healthy kids, why do I still want more? This is something that I grapple with. I'm no Jane Fonda, but I've worked my way back to my pre baby weight, clean up nice and can even get an occasional wink from the twenty-something thoroughbreds in town. But even that is not enough. A little more than 30 hours till take off when I'm on the operating table and there is a small voice in my head that feels a bit guilty for this. For wanting more and for actually going out and getting it. Women, we can be so complicated sometimes...
