3 months is so confusing

I am somewhere around 3 months. I am struggling to maintain a workout schedule. My tummy was so protruding lastnight it worried me! I mean I swell but I felt pregnant. When I looked in the mirror it didn't seem that bad but in the laying position it was big and round! Nerve wracking. I had just returned from eating a seafood dinner so I don't known if its the food or my bodybis just out of whack! Hoping to have some sanity by December. I mean, with workouts and clean eating and more healing, I would like to see what my body looks like then.

Back to Working Out

I am 7 weeks post op. I walked 2.5 miles and cycled for at least 45 minutes. I made sure to wear my compression garment really snug. I did this workout outdoors in the Florida heat. I felt fine after however, I took a two hour nap. My swelling was normal. Bellow my bb is flattest. To the left side of bb more swollen than right side. Still dont look too bad in clothes, even when swollen. Personally, I intend to loose 15-20 pounds by December (6 month post op mark) then really judge things. For now im letting the body heal. Rome wasn't built in a day and this recovery does not take place in a day either! Continued healing and renewed self love to all!

One Month Post

Well, a month has gone by! I can't wait tosee what month 6 brings. Swelling hgoes back and forth. However, I am able to cope and I rest when my body says to rest. My pants all fit funny at the waist/crotch so I have to figure out my new pant size. I am a small or medium in my tops for stores like Kohls, Macy's, JCPenny, in the junior section. I am loving the way I look in clothes! Still need to loose 10-15 pounds but boy that's difficult to do!! Hang in there everyone! Patience is the key!

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Rosenfeld was recommended to me by a friend. She is thrilled with the work he has done for her. So, I decided to use him after speaking to a few other patients of his. I was very nervous the first time I met with the doctor. His office staff is wonderful. He was able to answer my questions but I left the office undecided. I figure I will pay a second visit then make up my mind, which is exactly what I did!
