I'm at week 4. I still notice no difference in my legs. I'm happy to have lifted breasts. I'm currenting working on scar treatment. I'm using Oleeva silicone strips. I'm only 2 weeks into using them & so ready to be done. They are a pain in my opinion. I'm hoping after the next 10 weeks of using them theres a difference. I can resume light cardio this Monday so very excited about that :)

I lost 118 lb 2 yrs ago after exercising and seeing some results I could never obtain a flat stomach so I opt to get a tummytuck and liposculpture ( which I did 3 weeks ago ) I always wanted a thigh lift but every surgeon I saw they said it was not a good surgery bc the scarring is very ugly do u think I should still do it and who do u recomend

I just had breast surgery and arm reduction.. arms are still sore.. I am three weeks post op and counting the days.. time is my friend i know... but.. it sure does seem to drag out.. i am planning to do the thigh lift as well.. I love my surgeon... but I think I am going to wait for at least six months... I lost 100 lbs... my scars on my arms.. I do not have any... my doctor made the stitches internal.. and they used some type of super glue.. is that not awesome!!! anyway.... I think you can see my pics on my profile.. still had some bleeding and swelling a little bit... have to get new ones up... my dr is here in salt lake city.. and he has an office in Moab too.. it is great that we have this site to come to.. I just wish my breast on the right side would settle in.. it is so far behind my left breast... makes it hard to go out in public.. still wearing the granny bra.. but I am lopsided.. lol..

Hi Angelgrace- Wondering your thoughts on the arm reduction surgery. Was it painful? How long was the recovery? Are you very happy with the results? Id appreciate any info you'll share with me. How do I get to see some pictures? Im not to good at navigating this site yet.

Its been a week and 2 days since my surgery. Things went better then expected as far as recovery. 5 days post I felt good, stopped all pain meds. At 7 day I had my 1st Post Op app. That consisted of having the stitches removed from my legs & stomach from Lipo. Breast stitches dont get removed until 2 week follow up. I cant say Im thrilled to be in compressions for 6 weeks but things could be worse.
As far as my procedures go I only had a breast lift with 250cc saline implants, lipo in mid stomach, along with lipo to thighs. My surgeon recommended trying just lipo before committing to a thigh lift. He felt at my age the scars would bother me since I have a history of not scaring well. I'm hoping he's right

I am sure you're going to love the results. Just be sure to keep in mind that they are not instantaneous! It took you awhile to loose your weight, and it is also going to take awhile to heal from these surgeries too. You should realistically start seeing the begining of your results at the 6 week post op mark, and your final results anywhere between 6 months to a year. The bruising will go away fairly early on, but the swelling will go up and down and remain for quite some time. Keep your head up and trust your surgeon. Try not to panic if the results aren't there in just a few days. Many of us go into cosmetic surgery with the belief that it is a "quick fix" or we think "I am going to wake up all better", when in reality that is not the case. Plastic surgery like you had, is a very invasive procedure that cause a lot of cellular "trauma". This is what is going to cause swelling and it is the swelling that will keep your from seeing your results quickly. So keep hydrated and follow your doctors instructions!
