My 7 Years Journey for Flat Tummy - New York

I did lipo upper & lower abd & facial fat graft 9-3-15 by Dr Karlinsky @ her Manhattan office. She removed 280 cc fat, transfer 6.5 cc to each side of my face. I feel great after procedure, no pain, feels little bloat. No needs for pain med. only have headache from facial fat graft . Headache resolved with Motrin. Dr K is great, she call me in evening follow up. She wants to make sure I am ok after procedure that morning. I saw Dr K 9-8-15 3 months follow up. I feel great. I love my new abd. "Pooch" is gone. Dr K did great abd lipo procedure on me. I will recommend anyone wants cosmetic procedure to see her for consultation. She is great surgeon. She never try to over sell you & pressure you to do procedure. She give her recommendation & realistic expectation of procedure you requested. Office staff is efficient , professional & friendly. I never have to wait for my appt. office is well run & convient with 3 locations - bklyn, Manhattan & weschester. I am planning to see her again next year for another facial fat transfer & possible lipo of flanks. Again she never pressure me. She states " you call office whenever you are ready for the procedure". I included pic of day 1 post lipo. I will send additional post op pictures later.

Asian female, 49, no kids. 5'0" 103 lbs. I had my first cosmetic surgery 2007 BA. since 2007 I have contemplated to have abd Liposuction. I have exercise regularly & attempt to eat healthy diet most of time. But, can not get ride of my "pooch" . When coolsculpting came out, I thought, great I will try it. I preferred it over liposuction , no down time., no pain. When I went to see this NYC plastic surgeon for coolSculpting consultation ; this doctor says "it will not work for you. You need to have tummy tuck". I thought this doctors is crazy, I never went back to see him again. January 2015 I decided to have liposuction since I still have my "pooch". I consulted plastic surgeon @ Mt Sinai hospital. Doctor say I am good candidate , liposuction will be done under GA. But, doctor say I will "not have much improvement " since I am not "over weight ". I thought why I am doing this liposuction if I do not see any improvement or get rid of my "pooch". June 2015 I saw Groupon for zerona $300. So I decided to try it. I did 9 zerona treatment from June- July 2015. No improvement . Waste of $ & time. Attached is photos before ( I am wearing bra & panty) & after ( I am wearing blue bikini) zerona. As you can see no change/ no improvwment. Still have my "pooch". So, finally I did more research & decided maybe first doctor I consulted few years ago is correct. I need to have mini TT & lipo to have "flat & taut tummy" . 7/21/15 I went to see Dr V Karlinsky. I have informal consultation with Janette & Dr K. Dr K states "some people naturally has slight lower abdominal protrusion". Mini TT to sew up my abdominal muscles is unnecessary , she does not recommend it for me. Dr k told me I only need Liposuction of upper & lower abdominal areas to get rid of my "pooch" Procedure performed under local anesthesia . I can return to work next day. Usually local anesthesia does not required medical clearance, But since I am over 40 , I requires medical clearance from my PCP. Also I decided to use my fat for facial grafting . It is only few hundred $ more but last more than few yeas. Other synthetic filler need to be injected yearly > " PAIN". 8/3 , I went back to see dr K to have formal consultation & pre-op. She is very thoughtful & explained procedures & possible post-op complications to me. Assure me I should have good result from this liposuction procedure. From office assessment possible removal ~ 400 cc fat. I will write next post after my procedure 9/3/15 WISH ME LUCK !! POOCH BE GONE !!!!
