The compression garment is removed about 2 weeks after the buttock fat injections (butt injections). During this time, the patient should not sit directly on the buttocks. The patient usually can go back to work about 2 weeks following the procedure, but should avoid sitting down for too long.
Additional treatments like massage and ultrasound are usually recommended in order to achieve better results and help on healing process. After 3 to 4 weeks, the patient can already resume all activities.

In some cases, another surgery might be necessary, in order to achieve better results. In about 30% of buttock fat injections (butt injections) patients, part of fat injected is reabsorbed by the body. In these situations, a second fat injection procedure is needed.
Through buttock fat injections, you cannot achieve the same volume as with the buttock implants.
In case the patient has not enough fat to be liposuctioned, a buttock augmentation with buttock implants should be considered.
Remember that, for the buttock fat injections (butt injections) to have long lasting results, it is important to maintain your weight and keep a healthy lifestyle.

So for valentine's day, instead of getting wined and dined by my husband, I got "sucked and pucked" by Dr. Heller in Manhattan. I must say I was treated very well and believe Dr. Heller was very honest with me during my consultations prior to surgery. Well immediately after the surgery (although swollen) my waist was reduced so dramatically I was elated! My butt was stallion-like which was awesome...but it was mostly due to being swollen. (I think). Prior to Dr. Heller and I agreed that my butt only needed a lift and with the fat removed from my waist would promote a nice feminine appeal. However when I saw my swollen booty I actually liked the way it looked. Not a donkey ghetto booty, but a nice plump rump. My measurements on day 1 post surgery:

At day15 and got a lymphatic drainage massage. Nelly, the masseuse in Bayside Queens was great. Shared a wealth of information about my diet and recovery.
Nelly told me that my post surgical garment was no longer supporting my body, so I ordered Vedette and Faja garments from eBay. Received within 2 days. The garment fit tighter on my waist with the booty lift. I had to cut out the fabric where the booty mesh was to relive pressure off my tender swollen booty.

At five weeks post and I am still wearing support to continue to mold my shape. The garment even looks nice on, it lifts my plump booty and shapes my already small waist. After leaving Dr. Heller's office...he said I'm healing well and is please with his work on me. He even cold stored my fat incase I wasn't pleased with his "puck work" (fat injection). I appreciate him very much. He told me that I can resume normal activity and to just listen to my body. Don't plop down when sitting. Continue with life. He said my waist will get even smaller then it is now. He also told me to continue with the drinking plenty of water and the lymphatic massages. It's helping with my recovery.
I'm getting mixed feelings about more injections tho. My shape looks so naturally proportioned and sexy. Nice normal feminine curves. But I wouldn't mind a little more plump on my rump and hips for that WOW factor. Again, I loved the appearance of my bottom when it was swollen. I am concerned though with how large I would look immediately after, to achieve my permanent goal.
In addition, Fat cells has a way of punishing...I know if the fat cell have the same behavior as what they had in my belly...it's going to expand with age.. But a few more cc's won't hurt. Well we will see in a month or so. However, reading many BBL reviews, it seems like woman go in again at least for a second round of injections to be satisfied.

Updating a helpful Garment tip
The Faja 9334 worked best in my recovery. I cut out the thin booty liner so my cheeks can get more play because the garment is tight...which I needed for the waist area.
