BeautyFix MedSpa Townhouse- AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT GO THERE!
A brutally HONEST review that truthfully illustrates what my mother and I experienced. I don't want ANYONE to experience what we went through. I made an appt over a month in advance to take my mom there for Mother's Day weekend to get lip fillers from Anna. Our expectations were high based on the reviews. We've been harassed and demeaned by the employees there!
We BOTH got lip numbing cream, were told to wait 20 min but NO ONE came even AFTER 40 min! When we saw Anna, she was totally rude. No smile, hello, eye contact. She needs lessons in BASIC mannerisms. I showed her a photo of lips we wanted to achieve IN GENERAL since every customer has different preferences but she PUSHED aside my hand & got upset. My mom tried explaining without the photo but Anna condescendingly said she didn't understand & ignored her. I witnessed Anna at one point touching my mom's thigh a few times and pushing her face & chest back to get her to sit back. Completely inappropriate!
We tried to communicate with her NICELY again but she suddenly left WITHOUT explaining why. She went to the front desk and we saw her speak with Audrey about how she didn't want to work with us anymore! There were other employees around. What cust. would just sit there & NOT say anything when an employee has treated them like dirt & then refused to provide services WITHOUT even explaining to them WHY?
As we tried to explain this CALMLY to Audrey, Anna cont'd to be rude and Audrey refused to listen to us. She immediately sided with Anna, which was surprising & extremely unprofessional. She did not even ONCE try to take us aside into a private room away from the other customers and employees. Unable to mediate the situation due to her lack of professionalism and volatile temper, she suddenly just told us to LEAVE! FYI, we were speaking loudly, NOT screaming, but she accused us of screaming at HER when this wasn't even about in the first place!
My mom tried to diffuse the situation and even said she liked Audrey yet she called my mother a "PSYCHOPATH" in front of all the employees and customers! Audrey was the one who started "screaming" at us FIRST so THIS is when I lost it and screamed back. Taylor, front desk girl with glasses, jumped on the bandwagon and started hurling insulting remarks at us. She or Audrey said the lip fillers wouldn't have looked good on us anyway! Anna asked if I was married and said how I shouldn't!
Audrey started to aggressively gesture & scream at us to leave and began to clench her fists by her side as if she was going to PUNCH me. Even the employees tried to calm her! Anna and Taylor joined in and started screaming at us to leave too! Audrey & Taylor even followed us OUTSIDE the business and cont'd SCREAMING at us outside!
Audrey has been HARASSING us further by sending us THREATENING msgs to our PERSONAL emails. I think she was the one to call me with a 'no caller ID' for 2 nights! I've never got a 'no caller ID' before. This happened the NIGHT OF at 10:56pm & following Monday- 7:42pm. The employees & business have been reported to appropriate authorities for investigation.
OF COURSE thanks to the horrific incident, no surprise if they act particularly nice to customers from now on. My mother still has difficulty eating & sleeping due to the emotional/psychological distress inflicted by those employees. Don't spend your hard-earned money on this place. SO MANY OTHER med spas in NYC that will treat you with the utmost respect. We hope you find a place that gives you great memories!
