Hello Halo! - New Look New Life Surgical Arts

Day 5 since Halo - 52yr old

WORTH IT
I am so excited by these results! This is a no make up selfie (Ok have eye make up on!) but my usual poor gray/red tired looking skin truly looks so fresh and dewy! In just 5 days! I did the 'light' Halo but will definitely go back and do the more powerful one in a few months time as these results are really impressive (and I have hated the tone and texture of my aging skin for a while). Very happy. Thumbs Up!

Dr Karlinsky and her team at New Look New Life are exceptional. Fifth Avenue board certified skilled team. Warm manner, not snooty (so many of these doctors are!) and most importantly doesn't sell you stuff you don't need or shouldn't have! Very informative and good communicators not rushed but most of all highly professional and talented. Never skimp when it comes to your face or body always worth going to the best.

amazing results! The day of and the day after looked rough... what did it look like on day 2, 3, and 4? When did you feel comfortable being out in public?
I thought it was pretty red and rough the first 1-3 days. I didn't do the ultra aggressive Halo treatment. I'm looking to do another treatment it's expensive but i've never ever had such results like this before and I've tried a few different lasers. Also the pores on my nose were improved think after another session should get even better results with pores.
Also worth noting that it felt like sun burn you know hot and sore for the first three days too. I just kept slathering myself with Cetaphil that I'd kept in the fridge!

The day after

The 'sunburn' feeling didn't last long, i slathered my face with cetaphil and iced when i felt hot and tried best to sleep elevated. Woken this morning with much less red and more brown pinprick design of the sun damage etc being pushed out. Skin looking and feeling rougher in texture. Have a fair bit of swelling on my cheeks (where i also have filler) i should perhaps have iced more and should perhaps have taken arnica or applied arnica. Just went out and bought some arnica gel and trying that for the cheek swelling and still slathering with Cetaphil. All in all still pleased with the progress. Thought I'd be brave to share some more unflattering photos so you have a sense of how halo worked for me!

I'm a huge fan of Dr Victoria Karlinsky and the team at New Look New Life from time to time I've purchased packages that have given me a chance to try out new treatments. In January I had a Clear and Brilliant laser facial which i liked and so was interested today to try the Halo. First impressions very good! I didn't find it as painful as the other laser facial, i think this was to do with the cool air that blows as the machine works. Really appreciate the technician Susan as he manner was chatty enough to take mine mind off it but attentive to know when to give me a little break. I will attach an unflattering photo (!) as this is what i look like immediately after, good to know what to expect. It's been a few hours now since the treatment and the painful feeling like 'sunburn' has gone down. I've been icing up my face and not fussing with it at all. I would suggest if you do this or any other treatment to go with the best - a board cert plastic surgeons office.
Great experience all in all and if it's as fantastic as the other treatments I've had there I will be back for a much stronger treatment.
