5 years and 7 months later , so so happy i did it !

Had my facelift at 51 , am now 56 , could not be happier .
So glad i did it .
Still looking great after 5 years + , at the time it seemed a litle crazy to have this procedure but i knew i wanted to . After much researchs chose dr Vasyukevich in upper east side New York .

You look lovely - thank you so much for sharing your journey! I actually came across your review reading questions about chin swelling, and I'm glad to see that everything resolved for you. I am at my six week post-op mark, and I've developed a big pouch under the chin and jawline laxity in the past two weeks. I was not provided a chin strap to wear after surgery, however - I did ask my doctor about it and was told no. I visited with the doctor's PA last week, because Im concerned about all of the sudden sagging, and won't see the surgeon again until the end of August. In addition to the sagging, I have one really tight, painful platysma band that has become more prominent. I was advised to massage the band and chin scar, as well as the sagging areas, to speed healing. Seeing your review gives me hope that perhaps things will settle down in a month or two and I'll have an OK result. I'm thrilled for you that al worked out - you're gorgeous! :)
Considering but the cost in Chicago area very expensive. Will be in Costa Rica for months of Jan and Feb and thinking of doing when there. Much cheaper. Even better doctors. You do look great.
Ive read there are some great surgeons there too. Much cheaper and very high standards.

Super happy !!
Been told i look 35 twice lately....mmm...not sure about that but still , haha....great about those jowls and saggy neck being part of the past ...

3 months and a half

Still very happy , numbness slowly going away , some vertical bands on neck from scarring and healing ....

very hard to see on sideburns..noticeable under chin ..one ear ok the other red...all this takes months i guess..nobody noticed anything...THAT AMAZES ME !!:))
