Hi Charlotte, I am also in Manhattan looking for a rhinoplasty doctor. I am between about three but I still have yet to meet any of them. Next week I am going to my first consult. I was thinking about consulting with Dr. Kwak as well because he has good reviews and 7,800 (which he quoted for you) seems like a great price. Although, I did just see that he got a negative review about rhinoplasty so now I am scared. How was your consult with him and what was the price of it? How did he get your quoted price - did that include the anesthesia and everything?

Yes, there was just a negative review, but I have a completely different nose and situation from that reviewer, so I am not swayed by that review. The price quoted included everything from pre-op to post-op. The price quoted is for an open approach. If I choose a closed approach (tip would not be rotated as much) the cost would be about $5,000. I was able to meet with the doctor free of charge for a 30 min consult. For imaging, it's $150. I hope this helps!

I also liked that he has trained with a famous surgeon in Texas and is on the "super doctors" list.

Thanks so much for answering! Helps so much! Yeah, I thought the same thing - mine is more like your noses and the image looks really amazing! It is such a scary process but it is a really good price... there are some that charge way more! He has so many good reviews and it seems like you really liked him during your consultation!

Omg, I was thinking about morin too - I feel like I may like him better than kwak but he seems more expensive - I like his noses a bit more in his before and after - but that's all a matter of personal preference - I have to read your review on that - I also was seriously thinking about Dr. Tae Ho Kim - he has a lot of good reviews too - but I just don't know - I have to first meet with everyone but I'm so nervous about deciding!

I dont see your review on morin but did you like one better than the other - and if you dont mind me asking - what price did he quote you - b/c I know he has two offices - one in manhattan and one in nj and it is cheaper in nj so I thought about maybe going to the consultation in manhattan and then getting the surgery in nj

I too am considering Kwak for a rhino/septo plastic as I have a hole in my septum and am also considering cosmetic changes. Anyone have a direct experience with a Kwak rhino?

I'm partial to the first photo from the consult; with the minor tip rotation. It's a bit more feminine to me, but be sure to choose what's most comfortable to you!
