Waited All my Life to Wear a Pony Tail! - New York, NY

I have never worn my hair up! As a young kid in Russia, I had short hair, big white bow on top of my head matching the school uniform, and ears sticking out. During the rest of my childhood and adulthood here in the States, I've only worn my hair up to the gym and hated it all those times. I never wore a pony tail. I dreamed of potentially one day having surgery to pin my ears back and do an updo to a party or a wedding.

In the last few months, with summer approaching, I started to think more and more about it, but I was nervous about potential risks. I did thorough research about the best of the best in NYC to go to for plastic surgery, in my case for Otoplasty. I asked my friends from medical school who trained in ENT/Plastics and Oculoplastics in NYC and other colleagues at work. Dr. Miller came highly recommended. I had a consultation and was put at ease about the procedure, post procedure care, and acceptable risk of relatively minimal complications. I reviewed the portfolio of results which were great, and booked surgery for the following week. Discomfort was completely acceptable and tolerable after the procedure, and I was back to work seeing patients five days after surgery. It has now been a month and I have not worn my hair down! Results are beautiful! My smile does not leave my face!
