I am a 30 year old healthy female, I weight 120 lbs height is 5’-5” I have a very lean body. I eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis. I do spinning, running, yoga, Pilates and when on vacation I ski or swim. I have always thought that liposuction was for the lazy, and people that just lacked self control to eat. That all changed when I hired a personal trainer to help me get rid of my sattle bags and the bumps and lumps on my legs and nothing absolutely nothing worked! I paid a pretty penny over the years on personal training and nothing got rid of the cottage cheese on my butt and legs.

Last Tuesday I had my outer thighs and back of the legs done with Cellulaze, Dr. Pakeman explained in detail the procedure and expectations, it’s been 7 days from my Cellulaze treatment and I can see my skin being smooth and tighter. I do have some bruising, but Dr. Pakeman had explained it to me before hand. I only took 2 days of work, and I was fine, well, I was soar but then again doing squats and all sort of leg exercise I’m used to being soar. I am wearing the compression garment so I wearing long skirts and maxi dresses until the bruising fades away, but from what I can see it looks sooooo much better, I can honestly say my legs look better now then when I was in my teens and 20’s. Thank you, Dr. Pakeman for having so much patience with me. I know I’m a tuff cookie but then again when you take care of your body only the very best will do, and that’s why I chose Dr. P for my Cellulaze treatment, after 4 consultations my husband and I decided that he wasTHE BEST ! My neighbor will be coming with me on my next visit for her consultation.

Glad all is going well so far!! That is pretty remarkable that you were feeling fine going to work in 2 days - sounds like you are definitely a tough cookie!!

How much drainage did you experience & how long did it last?

Hi Megan, the drainage only lasted over night, when he removed the padding the following morning I was just instructed to wear the post surgical garment I felt so much better after removing all the extra bulk, I took a cool shower when i got home to avoid additional bruising and put the garment back on. I still felt a little tired from the anesthesia but by lunch time I took a walk to starbucks, It took me 15 extra minutes but I got my coffee read the paper and walked back home. I expected to be in alot of pain and really un-comfortable, I have done some workouts that have been by far more painful than this. I will be posting some pixs really soon. Thanks for your interest Megan.

Thanks for sharing and congrats on your procedure. I had my cellulaze done June 6: backs of legs, sides, some top, lower butt. Did your doctor mention it will look great at first due to the swelling, followed by a couple months of looking like there are no results at all? I don't want to sound like a downer, I also want you to be prepared because I appreciated my doctor being honest with me about that aspect. It has to do with the uneven way the body heals the skin so the degrees of fluid and healing under the skin can appear links the very cellulite we want to be free of. I can say that at 7 weeks out I actually see a difference and I'm really happy about that. My doctor is suggesting a couple of smooth shapes appointments and I'll be doing that in the next few weeks to help the continued healing.

Hi, thanks for sharing your story, I was considering this procedure myself but I was told the results don't last and I would be happy in the long run. Can you give us an update, how are your legs today?
