My face feels very deflated and easily pulled. It is neither plump nor firm like it used to be. Will it ever refill naturally?
I just read Hong kong is feeding merz they have the most ulthera units in the entire world, in asia they are all dying for a contoured/thin face!
Well if a patient is looking for," fat loss" it surely will do that like cool sculpting but it also thins the skin like an 80yr.Olds prematurely so becomes like crepe paper consistency. Much more prone to wrinkles after. Also my teeth have even shifted as I know ultherapy went into my bone an damaged it. I don't understand the exact mechanism but I just am dealing with the damage like rest of us. So even if looking for fat loss I wouldn't advise for those reasons.
Yes my teeth have been affected too. I'm not sure if they shifted, I think they have. But also my gums have been affected and are pulling off from my teeth, and the bone density in my teeth has decreased overnight, with increase in their transparency. One even broke spontaneously, and the doctor told me it shattered due to low density. I'm in my 20s!
Wow. Ugh I'm sorry to hear, many on here have talked to me on the phone now reporting damage to teeth an gums an bone loss from ultherapy as well. Who are we to dissuade anyone? But more power to those who wanna age 20yrs.knowingly an pay for it seems very masochistic to me. We weren't warned. I feel it's my duty as a caregiver type to Warn others as these $$$ hungry providers won't usually. But really sucks no one warned us.
You notice how there all of a sudden is a rash of positive, one time posters raving on this procedure? Lol what a joke! I wonder how Ultherapy an providers.sleep at night...must be doing alot of hiring for p.r. to people. I know Christie Brinkley is handsome paid. She should truly be ashamed.
20s?! Why did you even have ultherapy if you're so young? I'm 50 and considering it. And where are the photos everyone is referring to at beginning of this thread? Smiling vs unsmiling, chin shrunken, left eye looks different, etc. Are they of Jennifer Aniston? I've long thought that all the celebrities who claim they did ultherapy really have had facelifts. I almost did ultherapy 3 yrs ago, but had a worried feeling about it. I'm super thin already and that is what is making me look a bit older right now. I've always had good skin and looked younger than my age, but I think my low weight is catching up with me and I'm seeing a lot of sagging right now. Fillers and Botox probably better option but I'm VERY needle phobic. Dilemma.
starttart do not do it!
I wish I had some. It's ruined my career an life. And like a bad relationship that shatters your trust in another. Doesn't matter that relationship is with a provider, once trust is broken like a love relationship, you're hard pressed to trust enough to try again. Ptsd from damaging cosmetic work is Real. One girl called it, face [RS bleep]. I concur.
I had some laser treatment on area around mouth, "well it has not been successful". White patchiness around mouth..So I have to put thick covering foundation on to camouflage it...without make up it looks terrible ,not happy with it..So Dr.is going to have to do something, to put it right if possible, not sure it's possible..
I had a tooth just crumble in the summer, i have never had a cravity!
Did you ever heal? Did your face ever get close to how it was before?
charming7354 I was in the Dr's all day today having an EKG. I cannot sleep as my body wakes myself up as if I can't breathe. I'm really afraid.

Are there any REAL people out there who have had REAL positive results, or no negative results, from ultherapy? Or know anyone w

Please, only real reviews of people who have actually done ultherapy. I'm tired of suspicious profiles with zero activity and only one comment answering in robotic ways. I'm trying to create a real discussion here. And see if people actually had good results and what could be the difference between them and those who have had negative reviews. This could really help us all understand. And perhaps, if there are people who have had good results, give us hope that maybe there's a chance the damage will reverse someday.

Ultrasound is militarized warfare. I just read up on it. How lovely. Read about cuba using it on usa diplomats. Very damaging. Different subtypes but all deratives.
Girls since it burned all my subtanceous tissue away at 36 years old, i know everything there is to know about ultrasound destruction!!
I cant even Get micro needling, because the just hit bone, the headaches, sinusitis, fatigue is awful!!!
It's no secret but I just read how United States pulled all their Diplomats from Cuba as we as a country know ultrasound can be used as military weapon. In fact police have been outfitted here in the USA with it yrs. Back to dISturb the central nervous system. So it's well documented it's capacity to damage humans when intended.
Don't forget ultrasound is used for all types of screening - prenatal, blood clots, thyroid, etc. The frequency (sound), focus, depth, wavelength and application all have an effect on the outcome. We use ultrasound to examine metal thickness in the inspection industry, for example. I don't think you can pigeon-hole all ultrasound as militarized warfare - that's entirely too simplistic.
I think she meant that ultrasound is so powerful it should not be used on the gentle tissue especially on face, i know when I was pregnant I was only sent for one ultrasound due to it being dangerous on unborn baby. There is a difference when it is used as image even though Drs say there is huge risks for damage and use as only last resort, than targeting it at high intense frequencies on delicate subtaneous tissue and cells.
I've had it under the chin combined wit Kybella first. I love my results! They even had enough Kybella to use in the jowls (unern chin only, where Ultherapy cannot go). The Kybella was done in May, Ultherapy in August. I am 5' 10", 165#, 54 y. o. That doubling/slanting chin was dragging me down. I've contemplated lower face but these posts are concerning. I'm m told I'm a good candidate for this but I'm holding off for now.
Worst thing that has ever happened to me - truly.

Similar to my own ultherapy experience. Face shape is different and less feminine.

I didn't even recognize it was Liv. I thought for a second it was Kate Bekinsale who has smaller eyes.
You need to chill, she looks the same. She's also almost 40. Both her parents brows lowered with age as well. She has hooded lids (and always has), and they drop lower and make the eyes appear small with age. She also has no upper face wrinkles, so she may get Botox, which can also lower the lids some. I follow her on Instagram, she looks great. I was just thinking that I hope I age as well as her the other day.
I know ulthera can hurt people, but it doesn't hurt everyone. Scrutinizing everyone who's had it is lame. There's also no difinitive proof she has had it. Like I said before, you're trying.
No you're right, maybe I am reaching. Maybe she's had ultherapy done or maybe she hasn't. I've been super attentive to details since I've had it done and I do believe many celebs probably tried it as well as many other procedures. But regardless, all I'm saying is they've messed with their faces so much in trying to preserve their youth that they ended up looking like totally different people, and it doesn't look good. They're lucky they can attribute any unwanted changes to age, no one would doubt that, and maybe they believe it themselves. But for me, in my 20s, I can't say the same. I look completely different, and I doubt I aged 20 years in a few months. And the problem with ultherapy and similar machines that use certain mechanisms to heat up the dermis is that change is irreversible. It's not like a toxin (botox) that the body can eliminate. You're heating up layers of tissue and it can cause unpredictable reactions, maybe even apoptosis. You're right, maybe it doesn't hurt everyone (I really hope so), but it's enough that it hurt some people. It's not just an unwanted side effect, it's a life-changing effect. Especially since it's usually done on the whole face, so the whole face is different, and you have to live with that face for the rest of your life.

So maybe I'm projecting, and over-analyzing everything, but what else can I do? There's nothing to be done. No solution. And I've come to that conclusion by wasting my time analyzing celebrities who've had cosmetic procedures done. If those celebrities couldn't find a way to make themselves look better, and only ended up looking worse by doing various things, maybe ultherapy included, then what hope do we average people have?
May I ask why the doctor thought you needed such a procedure so young?? I hear it's very painful, it doesn't sound ethical to do that to someone in their 20s when there isn't a huge need for more collagen
Ulthera is targeting certain age groups, to hope to have it cleared/approved from fda to use on face!! 2 1/2 years ago I was the target age 30-35 and prior to that it was 40-50! I have suffered major damage!!! People who have known me my whole life do not recognize me!!! There is a lawsuit against company and there has been a recent article on how damaging this treatment is!! And it is not the provider it's the machine many Drs have stated that it's a uncontrolled bomb that the waves of damage spread!!! My advise is to do what ever you can to not stress take many supplements, eat right and do your best to rest, do not do anything that will cause anymore trauma and inflammation to your skin, report to fda and look up Harman law firm in Atlanta!
You will have to wait about a year to even look at having a fat transfer done!!!
She looks like a dying man!!! and so does kim, ulthera burns the life out of you!! Lunaa you are acting like you know them personally a little creepy
I spoke to my doctor about this treatment and she says it is totally dependent on the provider as to what kind of results you get. That's a scary fact, but there is zero qualifications needed for this.
Did u get back ur old face
Lol! No actually things have just gotten worse. The only good thing is I've regained some natural movement in my face. But otherwise the swelling went down tp reveal a very very flabby face, almost zero fat around my eyes, very loose thin skin, change in the shape of my nose and eyes (I lost cartilage in my nose, it's no longer rigid but sort of flexible and shapeless), and so many other things. My eyes look sunken in, or flat. I don't know what to think or do anymore... I've lost all hope.
I think I also have some nerve damage because my mouth is lopsided. So... yeah.
Ulthera73 did you ever recover? Have you looked into fillers or PRP injections? I’m going through the same thing. I’m 29 and they sold it to me as a “rejuvenating facial”
