Dr. Tanovic

Everyone here is entitled to their opinion. I myself am recovering from this surgery. Yes I am deformed but that's the least of my worries. Overall I am relieved to have this poison out of me. I have my own reasons on why I chose Dr. Tanovic. As the patient I went to meet both certified surgeons and if you are thinking about getting this surgery I encourage you to ask questions. Both doctors are open to as many questions you have. Both Drs are very welcoming and nice.

4 weeks post op

It's been tough these past couple of weeks. The first week back home was the hardest. I had to depend on my family for assistance to get out of bed and use the bathroom. I also bought home with me the female urinal that was given to me at the hospital because sitting on the toilet seat was so uncomfortable and sometimes painful. It's been a week since I had my drains removed and it feels great not having them. They are painful and uncomfortable and i had to be very careful that they don't leak. It's been 4 weeks since my surgery and I feel relieved to have had the majority of this crap taken out of my body. I can't say this enough but I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Tanovic.

Surgery #2

I thank the lord because I'm lucky to be alive. With everything I've been through for the mistake I made I have only realized to love the body the lord blessed me with. Last night I was taken to the OR at 7pm. Dr. Tanovic said she wanted to remove the vacs and clean the remaining silicone I had. I did feel very nauseous after surgery and very dizzy. As soon as I returned to my room I was able to eat and have something to drink. Today I'm being discharged from the hospital and I have drains attached to me. These drains are very uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable to sit and lay on my back. I have been in the hospital for 8 days which felt more like 8 weeks.
