Still pretty happy
Definitely zero regrets about going smaller, only wish I hadn’t made the mistake the first time around. 150ccs really go a long way when you have a petite frame. My advice to everyone - if you want “natural” or small, try a size smaller than what the PS recommends, just to make sure you know what it looks like one step up and down. I feel most PS worry that their patients are not getting the most bang for their buck, or experience boob greed, but there are def a good number of us who sometimes end up feeling too big because we left it to the PS to pick what they think would look most natural.
I had my first post op with my Dr almost a week ago. Everything is healing well, got the dressings removed and steristrips are on now. Supposed to keep it on for about 2 weeks, or until it falls off on its own. Next app is 2 weeks away.
Recovery has been easy peasy. I’m wearing my compression band again because my right one still feels like it’s lagging behind on the dropping bit. I think it still works!
Otherwise, the incision sites don’t bother me so much anymore, and I’m just dying to get back to working out. Holiday weight be gone!

You look great. I also think I went too big but I have a review soon with my PS, and I still have a lot of drop and fluff to go, especially on my left boob. I think you have my wish boobs! The 200ccs also looked good but the 150ccs are even better

Congrats on downsizing! I'm thinking of doing that too. Would you mind sharing comparison pics? So many people say that dropping 50ish ccs won't make a difference but I can't believe that to be true....

You look great in both but the most important thing is that you feel great with your second choice!

How was recovery compared to the first time around? I can't go through this whole recovery bit again?! My doc says he wouldn't have me go under anesthesia for the revision. Did you?

Recovery was a lot easier 2nd time around because pocket was already created and the skin/muscle had already stretched. But they still need to make that incision so I’m surprised your dr wouldn’t have you under anesthesia for that! They’re kind of cutting you open again! I’d be freaked out if I had to stay awake for that

Yeah...he said I'd have a local nerve block and wouldn't feel anything but I haven't heard of any other docs not doing general. The recovery from general is always harder though so as long as I have other drugs
I'll be ok I think!

With the new ccs are you able to wear a push up bra and have cleavage if you're looking for it? I want to be able to have it When and If I want it--just not 24/7, ha

Yes definitely, but I find that I still prefer the small-boobs look. I just didn’t want to be flat as a board in a bathing suit :/

Sorry to ask more questions--I'm still not sure if I will go through a revision. Some days I don't mind what I have, with certain outfits and bras I like them but in anything skimpy like a bathing suit I feel uncomfortable.
This is obviously a personal choice but how uncomfortable were you with 200? Would you have rather taken them out completely vs live with 200cc?
Someone else got a revision to downsize and said that she would have rather taken them out completely or downsized--that's how much she didn't like them, but that she advised if you mostly like them, just stay with the correct size bc you could end up not liking them even more.
Do you have an opinion or advice to give on the decision?
TY!!

Loving it!!
It’s the morning after and I can’t resist trying on all my tops again to see how they look with the new smaller boobs. I love it!!
I showed my hubby and he thinks I look the same as I did pre-surgery... ???? men, ugh! I do think having smaller implants is making me look thinner in my clothes and the hubby agrees!
There doesn’t seem to be any swelling that I can tell, but I guess we will see if there are any changes in the next week.
The only con I can think of now is having to go through scar therapy again.

Hi. The smaller implants look awesome!! Very natural, and perfect shape. And most importantly, you are obviously happier and more comfortable with them. Good on you for pursuing it further to get the look you want. They are just gorgeous.

the smaller implants look amazing! Really really natural. Did you have the same implant type, projection etc just a smaller size? I’d love my implants to look like yours!

thank you! and yes, same implant mod plus round smooth, 150cc. at that size the width of the implant more closely matched my bwd, so there was no need to switch to a low profile or high profile

I lovee how natural your new sizes look! TBH I feel like my surgeon put in a bigger size than what I wanted...so I can relate to your desires and struggle :( But I'm already 2-months post op and I can't afford to pay for another surgery. Did you have to pay again for the revision surgery?
L
January 5, 2018
thanks so much! yea I did have to pay for the revision but my dr waived her fee, so it was just payment for anesthesiologist, surgical center, and the implants. I had to wait 6 months before the revision, just so we can really see if I was unhappy with the final result. I know having to pay again super sucks, but it was worse for me to live with a $$$$ decision that left me feeling more self conscious than before. good luck with your healing process, I think you look great but can definitely understand the feeling of having gone too big.

Thanks! I think it'll be easier for me to accept them than to pay the $$$ again haha but I think you made the right decision. They look PERFECT! It was definitely worth the money and I'm so glad to see that you're extremely happy with your decisions. Hopefully I can come terms with mine too :)
