Great staff and doctor until you are unsatisfied with results
worst experience after surgery
When I think back (pre-op) I realized that Dr. Choe and I did not really agree upon a size. He simply opened up a Victoria's secret catalog and asked me which breasts I think are big and which I think are small. He didn't let me try on sizers like the previous doctor I consulted with, and he also does not use any computer imaging to show you different sizing on your body. He told me that he doesn't want to sound cocky but size for him is the easiest to determine and he can only determine it when he opens me up during surgery to see how much room I have. He also said that in his entire surgical career he has only had to do 2 revisions to change implant size. With all of this, he definitely sounded like the perfect surgeon. I know that it is my mistake for taking his word but at the same time I think that he should be more understanding if I'm unhappy with my size and acknowledge that we didn't discuss sizing extensively enough.
Fast forward a year and a half after my surgery and countless post op consultations and Dr. Choe finally talked to me about getting a revision, but wanted me to think about it more. He also stated that he did not want to tell me the cost because he does not want to make money off revisions so the price is very low and he did not want it to persuade me into getting a revision. I've had my mind set on a revision for the past year and a half and at my most recent consultation he is charging me full price for my revision...$7500 although the nurse told me she is giving me a $1000 discount. I find this absolutely ridiculous and it's very clear to me that they are charging this amount in hopes that it will put an end to this whole revision ordeal. After a year and a half of being dragged along I'm left extremely disappointed and frustrated with this process. I didn't get to choose what size implant I wanted or show my doctor my wish pictures of what I envision my breasts to look like. Breast size is purely subjective and everyone's idea of what is aesthetically pleasing is different, but it seems Dr. Choe's opinion is the only one that matters.
With everything said, I would definitely not recommend Dr. Choe. Yes, he's an amazing doctor and has a great staff when things are well, but if you voice your concerns or feel unsatisfied, both he and his staff will brush you off and find away to eventually push you away.

Starting with my first consultation to my post...
During the first consultation, Dr. Choe was very informative of all the risks and complications, he is very personable, genuine, and caring. The day of surgery, I was really nervous but the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The recovery process was smooth sailing with no complications and minimal pain after 3 days. Staff is very caring even after surgery with multiple post operative check ups. I am very satisfied with Dr. Choe and his staff, highly recommend!

This reads like a fake review. You don't even say what you needed done or had done.
This is a disgrace to patients that are regularly ignored and robbed by surgeons.

It would be great if everyone could ask supportive questions to get the information we are all seeking. I have posed a few myself!

I'd love to add your review to the breast augmentation community but before I do that, it would be great if you could share a few more helpful details about your procedure. What type and size implants did you get? When was your actual surgery date? Congratulations!

Did he do the job poorly or do you just not like the size? That's really something you should have clarified before aurgery. Now that it's done why would he be obligated to give you an upgrade at no cost?
