31 Y/o 32 Cup A - New York, NY

As much as possible I would have wanted to avoid undergoing any surgery, being quite informed of the possible anesthetic/surgical complications. However, size 32 cup A is just too small. My cup size was affecting my self-esteem. Having breast augmentation is probably one of the best decisions I've made in my life. My overall experience was pleasant. The procedure was quick. Anesthesiologist gave me a very effective sedative cocktail, I do not even recall being wheeled to OR. I woke up already in recovery room. I was given surgical bra to wear until first post-op follow-up which was after 1 week. The first 3 days post-op, pain was terrible..that is to be expected. I was dependent on everything. I was not able to even get up from bed without assistance. I needed percocet every 6hours and this made me extremely nauseated, so I barely ate. Succeeding days, everything gradually got better- pain, nausea, range of motion, swelling, consistency of breast (was very firm right after surgery). I stopped taking narcotics post-op day 4 and pain control was adequate with just as needed tylenol.
Now I'm on the third week after surgery, I've had 2 follow-ups and my surgeon said everything looks great and that I'm healing well. She instructed me to apply scar gel to help minimize and fade the incision scar. I am very pleased with the result, so far. My breasts look natural and just the right size. I was measured at VS my cup size now is 32 C/D. What an amazing experience!
