I Had a Tummy Tuck Four Years Ago, but Now I Want a BBL… - New York

BBL Finally scheduled
$11,501
So it took me a long time to finally pay for my BBL and also the courage. My date scheduled for 2/24/17. I am nervous and excited. I am hoping that everything turns out okay and I do not look weird? I can't wait to see the results. The office told me it should only take a week to recover and to return to work. I work in an office, so what do I do in regards to sitting for 7-8 hours? That can't be good especially right after having fat transfer to my behind. If you guys can provide any much needed advice would be greatly appreciated. Have anyone out there had a tummy tuck and now a BBL? How does it look? I'll update you guys once my blood work is done. They said I should go two weeks before my surgery date.

BBL - February 2016
I had a second consultation with Dr. Shahine yesterday. I'm happy I actually met with him vs. the young lady I met with before. He discussed what he thought that I should have done, but then asked me what I wanted done and I indicated that I really want a BBL. That will include lipo of the back and sides and fat transfer to the butt. I just can't afford lipo to my stomach at this time. My stomach isn't terribly bad because I had a tummy tuck in the past but I would need to work out a little so my stomach will also be completely flat once I have the BBL. There was a patient who had just got a BBL that morning and was ready to leave when Dr. Shahine asked her to give me her testimony as to how the surgery went. The patient was alert and oriented and she told me that she didn't have much pain during the procedure but she experienced some pain after it was complete. She also said Dr. Shahine gave her some pain meds so she's a little groggy but overall she's fine. She was wearing larger black clothing so I couldn't really tell how her body looked and left with her friend who was also very nice to me while in the waiting room. I'm very excited to get this surgery because I want to be able to buy clothing and look good in it too. Plus I have a caribbean vacation planned for next April and want to look good for my trip. I made a downpayment and will work on paying it off by next February. I didn't pick an official date yet but will do so closer to February. Does anyone have any pics of their BBL's that are 6 months to 1 year post op? I would love to see pics of what your bodies look like once all the swelling have settled down.

Initial Consultation Update
Happy New Year everyone! I had my initial consultation last month (December 2014) and I'm a little sad. As I mentioned, I had a tummy tuck but gained weight since and I wanted to see what my options were. The consultant at the office (Avra) was pleasant and might I add looked fantastic because she had a BBL too. The price is broken up into specifics, i.e front, side, back, axila, fat to butt and hips. Each portion is a different price, and in my case she quoted a price of $6500 to work on my lower back, side, and fat to butt and hips only. I asked about the front and even though I had a tummy tuck I need lipo now because I gained weight. The total that I was price that she quoted was $11,500. I was a little blown away because from the other prices I've seen other Real Self members posted was way off from what I was told. I was hoping for at least $7000 and then I could've definitely booked a surgery date at that time. I asked if that was this quote was neogotiable but she said no. So now I'm stuck and disappointed! :-(
