Ok in small amounts
I am changing my review to not sure due to the fact that I had hyaluronidase injected recently for overfill and it worked with no problem. The first time I had it done he used 40 units under each eye and I think that was way too much and that is why I had such a bad result. This time I was so scared to get it done again that I was planning on waiting it out. I tried for a couple of months but couldn't stand looking at it anymore. I went back to dissolve it but this time only used 5 units under each eye. The right eye took on the first try. It did look dehydrated on the first couple of days but now 2 weeks later I feel that it looks much better. The left eye did not dissolve as much so I went back to have another 5 units injected. I can already see a difference even though I am still somewhat swollen. I am writing this for all the people that have had bad results from hyaluronidase and those that are scared to try it. I really do think it is ok to use as long as it is used in small amounts. I hope this helps some people that are on the fence and not knowing what to do.
I have been reading the reviews with some people...
I have been reading the reviews with some people having good experiences. I am not one of those fortunate ones. I went to a plastic surgeon to inquire about a lower bleph. I had some puffiness from old restylane injections from 9 years ago! He stated that he would have to dissolve the restylane first to see what was actual fat and what was filler. He then injected the enzyme and I went home. The next day I was mortified. I could not believe the dark circles, crepey skin and grooves that formed. I let it sit for a couple of weeks to see if it would get better. It did not. I rushed back to him practically in tears and he refilled with juvederm volbella which has left me with a bluish puffy tinge and residual bruising. I refuse to have it dissolved again so I'm going to try to just deal with it till it is gone praying that it will not last 9 years like the restylane did. Please, if you are thinking about dissolving filler with hyaluronidase, ask them to start extremely conservative. You can always add a little tiny bit more. I wish I had researched better :(
