4 Months Update Lipo

Very happy with the fat transfer to the face, I didnt experience much fat loss at all.

The Lipo to the flanks and back is not quite what I expected while there was a significant improvement as you can see in the pics. I do have loose skin (see red markings in pic) and still have scars. Scars should get better over time--but its something to be aware of if you are doing it--mine are very noticeable after 4 months--It also depends on your skin types. I didn't expect to have the loose skin. I have maintained my diet and still about 3-4 pounds lighter since the Lipo. The Dr suggest getting ThermiTight to tighten the loose skin. I'm considering it. If you getting Lipo keep in mind you might end up with lose skin that needs to be address with an additional procedure. If anyone had Lipo then ThermiTight - I would love to hear how it worked for you and whether it was worth the additional cost.

I'm 45 years old and never had any work done...

I'm 45 years old and never had any work done before, not even botox. I workout with weights, I do yoga and spin--I'm in good shape. I have a nice build 5.11 165 and 31" waist--I have maintained that weight for several years. I recommend anyone considering lipo must be able to maintain your weight otherwise you will gain it back. I have my fat in my back and flanks. No matter what I do its almost impossible to lose it. And of course as I aged I started to lose a volume in my face.

I decided to have Lipo and fat transfer to my cheeks and temples. I was actually most worried about my face, I didnt want to look overdone - just to have the volume replaced. Dr. Singer did an excellent job--the look is very subtle and natural. Some time you look at people with fillers and you know they did something, but fat transfer done by an experienced doctor looks fantastic. And the bonus is it last for a long time! The down side with fat in the face is that it some of it can die, so you might have to do it more than once. I didn't really experience that, but I have very hardy fat :).

As for the Lipo its been two months, I can absolutely see the difference--I actually weigh 4.5 less as of today. The full results aren't seen for about 6 months, but I'm happy so far. As I said I'm a fit person and could never get rid of the back fat. The only downside is that I have scars that are very slow to heal. Most people on here from what I read heal quicker, but my are taking longer than I expected--so keep that in mind when your doing the procedure.

Overall I would recommend Dr. Singer for his experience and that he was conservative. I don't look overdone, I look like me. And if you can find a very experienced doctor--get fat transfer over fillers.
