Hi everyone. I wanted to show you all what my hairline and edges look like with my hair down or when my hair is up in a loose bun. As I mentioned in a previous update, I could use more density on my frontal hairline but it isn’t really noticeable when I wear my hair down or when I slick it back. I try to wear my hair down as much as possible to avoid putting any tension on my edges. Once the hair grows in, its easy to fall back into the trap of tight hairstyles but I really try and stay away from tight hairstyles. I mean its okay to ear your hair up every now and then but not to the point that you cause damage again. Hope this helps!

Cant believe It’ll be one year since my surgery in just a few days. Hands down the best decision Ive ever made. If you suffer from traction alopecia and are debating whether or not to get the procedure done, you are wasting time.. go book a consult NOW!!! This experience was 110% worth every penny. I am so much more confident now and I was able to inspire one of my friends to get the procedure by sharing my journey w her and it makes me so happy. New pics attached.. check them out

Looks great!!! Your giving me hope, I'm also worried about the shaving of the hair and how to stye afterwards. Those two things has kept me with going forward, courses cost too.

the fear of how i would style my hair after the surgery held me back for years but about 2 months after doing it, i was styling my hair how i would when i was trying to cover the bald areas. as far as costs, i finanaced mine using carecredit and i would do it again if i had to. the only regret i have from this experience is me putting it off for so many years. so go for it! time flies and look at me now. i dont mean to sound cheesy but i really do feel like a completely new person

9 Month FUT Update
Its been 9 months since my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with my decision of getting a hair transplant. Having edges has been a major confidence booster. I highly recommend the procedure to anyone suffering from traction alopecia. Its been life changing to be honest. Check out my pictures. I definitely think Im going to need a second procedure to add density but overall i am happy w the results and no longer have to be afraid to wear my hair down on windy days and being afraid of people noticing I was balding. On warm days I glad to say i can tie my hair up in a bun an no longer be ashamed. I will wait the full year before I decide to do a touch up.

Your results are amazing my hair journey twin lol! I'm so happy you had a great turn out as well, I'm also looking to have another procedure. It won't be fun but at least we'll know what to expect. Best of luck!

This is the best result I've seen so far! I'm in my 20s with the same issue.. I think from wearing braids and tight ponytails as a child. You just inspired me to look more into this procedure!
