Your hair looks very good. I know that you are taking care of it also. It looks very healthy. BTW, some of your comments mentioned braids. I dont see any braids. There is a difference between corn-rolls and braids. You have corn-rolls which are better for the hair than braids especially when they are not tight or pulling on your tender edges and when weaved hair is added to the corn-roll to support the style. I have had both- there is a difference. Anyway, very, very happy for you.

Thank you. Yes I put in my own cornrows with no weave added and they're not tight at all. They only last a week and I let my hair breath for a day.

I was wondering if you could help me. I am currently 4 months post and I've noticed after taking out my sew-in that I had installed for two months, I was experiencing (and still am) excessive shedding. I'm aware that hair sheds btwn 50-100 strands/day, so over the course of two months that's approx. 6K of shed hair, understandable. So during my detangling proccess I witnessed a good amount of hair loss, but I didn't freak out because it's expected when your hair is kept underneath a protective style for that long BUT the next day during styling my hair I noticed even more "shedding." At this point I'm unable to differentiate btwn shed hair/shock loss. Did you face a similar situation during this time of your journey? excessive shedding/shock loss? What steps did you take to reduce/prevent the situation.
I'm really starting to freak out because I have relatively healthy hair and I don't like what I'm seeing right now :'(
I've emailed Dr.Frank w/ my concern, but I'd also like to hear from some like you, who has been through the same procedure & was performed by the same Dr.
Your help will be greatly appreciated! XO
