I've been looking at doing a facelift. In looking at photos I thought I would try Dr Kassir in New York.

Upon my arrival the first thing asked for was my credit card. Then teams of paperwork to sign all regarding payment and legalities if you sue. Be sure to read all of it. Your signing away all your right to a lawyer. I refused to sign most of it

Dr Kassir seemed very personable and told me he would recommend a facelift and buccal fat removed. I was surprised as my complaint is a thin face. I asked if that wouldn't just make my face thinner. He agreed and said he wouldn't do it then

He told me the cost would be $25000 for the facelift. I then asked about fillers. He said we could do that. He left and one of the front desk firs came in. The said the doctor recommended 4 vials of restalyn at $950 each.

I said ok. They had me leave the room so I could pay in full then had me come back to the room and wait over an hour

The assistant brought in perlane. I asked scout the difference in material. She just said its what the dr wanted.

Dr Kassir came in and randomly injected two vials. At one point the filler just popped out ( maybe the needle wasn't on all the way?)

He used two vials not four and I didn't see any improvement.. I actually thought I looked worse.

When I questioned about the remaining two vials they said they would refund after speaking to the Dr

I called the following day. The staff was exceedingly rude. They commented that they don't refund. I argued that I paid for something that was not used and I didn't want to have more filler. They had the audacity to tell me that it was not my choice. That it was the doctors decision on wether or not I needed more filler. They told me I had to come in for my follow up

I come for the follow up. I waited an hour and a half. He saw me and suggested Botox not filler. I declined and stated I wanted a refund for the two vials. They said they didn't refund and showed me paperwork I had signed that said no refund for treatments. The doctor disappeared. I argued with the receptionist that I wasn't asking for a treatment on filler but for product they sold me I didn't need... That even the dr had not recommended more filler but Botox.

After another 45 min of arguing the doctor ( who must have been listening right outside the door) came in and begrudgingly said the don't refund but they would make an exception in my case.

And then they wouldn't run the card saying it had to come through the billing department. I own a buisness if you can swipe to charge you can swipe to credit. I had them write me an email the were refunding the amount ... At this point I certainly didn't trust them

I finally called my credit card company and got my money refunded.

Also when I called I asked to speak to the doctor and was informed that he does not return calls

I would avoid this practice.
