Excellent physician and amazing experience!

I got them re-pierced at the Doctor’s office about a month later. Dr. Halaas worked with me until we found a spot that would look good next to my other piercing. She numbs you with local so you do not feel anything when she re-pierces you with a needle. My ears look like nothing ever happened to them and they look perfect! I am so happy I finally had them repaired and I cannot wait to wear heavy earrings again :)

Just wanted to post an update and show you what my ears look like once the stitches came out a week later. It was a little uncomfortable getting the stitches out but it was not painful. I was cleaning them twice a day and using bacitracin while the stitches were in. Extremely happy with the result. I’m going to start using a scar cream and massaging them to help the scars heal and hopefully it will be almost imperceptible. I’m very happy that my earlobes look pretty much like the exact same shape as before surgery. Excited to get my ears re-pierced in a month :)

My experience with Dr. Yael Halaas has been nothing short of amazing! I wore heavy stud earrings day and night since I was 7 years old and I am now 25. Sleeping in these heavy earrings for so many ears had therefore caused my holes to tear so I started looking into torn ear lobe repair. My right ear was worse than my left and my holes turned into slits although they never completely tore through. I decided to get the surgery because even my stud earrings were practically falling out of my ears and I wanted to be able to wear heavy dangly earrings and hoops again without feeling the pressure from the heavy earrings or like my ear lobe was about to break. I did a lot of research on doctors and decided to go with this doctor and I am happy that I did! She was very friendly, professional and made me feel completely at ease during the procedure. I was in and out of the office in under an hour and my ears look great! For my right ear (worse ear) she didn’t have to cut completely through it in order to repair it which I am thankful for. The stitching looks perfect and the procedure did not hurt at all. My earlobes were a bit swollen but that’s about it! I am extremely pleased. I will update in a couple days when I get my stitches out and then in a month when she re-pierces them for me.
