Dr. Taub is by far the best surgeon, in every way, that I have ever encountered. I was recommended to him for my breast reduction and now that my surgery is over & I have recovered, I can hands down say that choosing him was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Choosing the right surgeon is extremely important, especially for a procedure like a breast reduction. From the moment I met him, he made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns (which I had endless lists of), was very open & honest with me and talked me through every step of the way. I was able to call him with follow up questions and explanations after the consultation even though I knew I was choosing him the moment I left his office. We had very open and honest conversations about exactly what I was looking for. He was so honest with me which was comforting, and since his hospital does not show before and after pictures of other patients, it shows you how much I trusted his intelligence and words to perform my surgery. The day of surgery he could not have been more comforting, supportive and reassuring, which is definitely something a 20 year old needs-especially one who has never undergone surgery before. Now, a month post op, I can 100% assure you that my recovery has been a breeze because of him. My breasts are beyond perfect- he did such an exceptional job with everything (sizing, shape, symmetry) beyond my own expectations. I have seen many breast reductions in person, and I can honestly say I've NEVER seen a job done like this. As my tape is starting to fall of my incisions, I can see the beautiful work he has done. The incisions are nothing but a precise and perfect line the size of a pencil- he is truly so so beyond talented. This was hands down the best thing I have EVER done for myself and I truthfully recommend using him as your surgeon for any sort of procedure even though I have only had a BR. For the first time in my life I feel confident, I wake up excited and happy to look in the mirror, something I never was able to feel before but now can because of him. I feel like a different person and if I could have anticipated how incredible I would feel, I would have done this YEARS ago. I am so beyond grateful for Dr. Taub, Mt. Sinai and any nurse/doctor who was by my side as they truly made this an amazing and comfortable experience.
