My experience with Dr. Choe has exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the results.
To give some background, I had full incisional surgery to both eyes about 3 years ago with another surgeon. Overall was happy with the natural looking results but as time passed I noticed my eyelids getting smaller; more so in the right eye, and that the inner eyelid fold had become a lot less defined. My original doctor felt that the risk involved with a revision outweighed the benefits so I did some research and found Dr. Choe. When I met with Dr. Choe and his staff I felt as though they were really listening to my thoughts and concerns and that their feedback was really honest.
We discussed two possible scenarios which were.....
1) Revise both eyelids with another round of full incisional surgery technique and raise the eyelid height on both eyes just a little
2) Revise just the right eyelid using the less invasive suture technique so that my right eye matched my left.
I never felt any pressure to proceed with the revision. I confirmed that I was going to move forward with a revision, but that I needed time to think about which of the two options I would move forward with.
A week later I decided to do the revision on just the right eye using the suture technique.
The cost for doing both eyes was not much more then doing one eye, I ultimately chose to move forward with just the one eye because I did not want to deal with the downtime associated with the full incisional revision, and I did not want to risk having my eyelids look too high and unnatural.

The revision was quick, painless and easy. I was expecting some swelling and possible bruising and that I would most likely need to wear sunglasses in public for a few days, but to my surprise there was pretty much no swelling or bruising.
I even went out to dinner the next day and no one noticed that there were tiny sutures in my eye because they were skin colored and very well hidden into the fold of the eyelid. I could see the results after 2-3 days because the healing process was so quick and easy.
I wasn't expecting the process to be this easy and to be this happy with the results but I am very glad I found Dr. Choe and decided to move forward with fixing an issue that was bothering me.
