Hi everyone! I went for my 2 week Post op...

Hi everyone! I went for my 2 week Post op appointment today excited because I thought I was getting the last drain removed... wrong! My doctor said my output is too high and my swelling is expected but more than what he has seen at this point. My swelling is only to my lower abdomen along the suture line though. I created this myself because on good Friday I over did it. I ate boil crawfish, fried fish and shrimp, gotta love New Orleans right. So I'm upset with myself right now for eating all that sodium that retains fluid. So now I'm watching EVERYTHING I eat, no more crawfish for a while and I LOVE crawfish but that's the sacrifice for the best results. Also I was told I wasn't wearing the binder tight enough, so now that I'm wearing it correct, I have to wear it another week around the clock. Hopefully this was just a minor setback and my corrective actions solve the problem. I'll update y'all in two days when I have to call my doctor with my drain output. TTYL.

Hi, I'm a 29 year old female who had aTT March...

Hi, I'm a 29 year old female who had aTT March 20th. I have always had a lil pouch in my lower stomach even before I had my baby. I have a 10 year old son and after getting back down to my pre pregnancy size a couple years ago and losing a total of 35 pounds, my stomach was still there; so I decided a TT was best. My experience hasn't been bad, everything is moving along. I went to my doctor today and got one drain and the pain ball removed, I feel so much better with less attachments, still have one drain that will be removed next week. I have swelling to the lower part of my stomach but the doctor said it will go down overtime, just keep the binder on 2 weeks around the clock. I'm so excited, can't wait to see the final result after the swelling. I need to get me a compression garment, any suggestions? I'll try to add photos later because it's not letting me right now.
