Having this procedure done was ABSOLUTELY the BEST decision I ever made. Dr. Woessner and his staff are wonderful. The procedure was amazing. It was like spending a day at the spa. No pain whatsoever. I can't believe my eyes when I look in the mirror!!! The results are phenomenal. Thank you all so much!!

Can I ask what the cost was for your procedure? shopping around, thank you!

My procedure cost $6600. That doesn't necessarily mean that your procedure would cost that much. It generally depends on what you want to have done.

How many hairs did you have grafted? I am female and have visible loss only in the front hairline. Thanks so much for your time, your transplant looks amazing

just over 1500. Sounds like what I experienced. I would do it all over again without hesitation. Good Luck!!

wow, thanks! Also, how do we know for sure they implant way less and charge for more? Did you have to cut your hair very short prior to the procedure? I have miniaturized hairs on entire front area, do they graft around those hairs or do they disregard them and implant on top of them?

I was awake for the entire process. It started at 8:00am and finished up just after 5:00. Frankly,I never had that thought cross my mind. I did not have to cut my hair any shorter (I wear my hair short to start off with). The grafts are intermingled with the hair you presently have. That's how my procedure was done. However, as you can see in my pictures I had areas on my scalp where the hair was totally gone. I'm sure every person's procedure is planned differently. Have you consulted with a doctor yet or are you just gathering info on the procedure?

I have been fighting off hairloss for many, many years. I always had problems with my hairline, even as a child. I started using minoxidil in my 20's and am now late 30's. I started getting sheds that were closer and closer together in the last 4-5 years. In may, I decided to stop minoxidil because I could no longer manage the body hair I was getting from just using minoxidil on my scalp. I have avoided going to the beach or the pool for so many years, could never wear short sleeve in the summer and even grew hair on my hand and fingers; it was just so depressing and also very disgusting. Since I noticed the more frequent sheds as well, I decided that minoxidil was perhaps no longer working for my hair so decided to take a break. Within a month my body hair was GONE! I felt free again and finally had a normal summer, even went into the ocean! Now, in November, I can see through the front area entirely and lose about 1000 hairs a day, chunks are coming out. I started minoxidil again last week and my body hair is already a little more visible :( I just really don't want to use minoxidil anymore. After I stopped minoxidil I was also no longer tired, I no longer needed 10-11 hrs a sleep a day, but only 7 hours. I pretty much had my life back. My face was no longer swollen in the morning, felt amazing. Now, a week into using it again I am tired again and have major swelling of eyelids:( I cut my hair into a bob but not thinking of going much shorter.

Congratulations! :D How long did it take for your new hair to grow in?

October 24, 2016
There was an approximate 3 month resting period during which time I felt like nothing was ever going to happen. But after that third month, the growth was phenomenal. New hairs are still coming in and will do so for the next 6 months.
