Nervously anxious about upcoming surgery. My peripheral vision is impaired because of my droopy eye. My doctor called to day to see if I had any more questions. I wanted arnica gel pads but the tablets I have taken didn't relieve bruising from my blood draws. Hope I made the right decision. Excited, but anxious.

Good luck. Arnica gel is in a tube perhaps you didn't start the tablets soon enough. Usually a person should start taking them 3-5 days prior to a procedure that you contemplate bruising from. I've used both the tablets and gel and have always had good results, but we all are different what works for some doesn't work for others.

I've been taking 5 tablet's per day for three weeks. Hoping it will help facial bruising. They have arnica eye pad's, but my surgeon doesn't use them. He support's me taking tablet's if I want but had no opinion of them. I try natural everything before going to doctor meds. Can you get gel at health food store?

Arnica Montana pellets and gel is available at health food stores, Whole Foods, etc. I used the 30c and took 5 pellets 3x a day for a few days before and several days after. I use Boiron 30c pellets, they are very tiny. Good luck tomorrow

Thank you! I just visited the hospital again and am feeling much more relaxed. Nothing left to do except wait until the morning.

Surgery was on the 5th and today is the 9th and I am doing great. Only problem is the tightness of the eyes from being swollen. My stitches were removed today and my surgeon said that I am ahead of what can be typical. I have maybe 5% bruising and some swelling. Definitely load up on recommended vitamin c and arnica. For me, this surgery was medically necessary but it was also very easy. We all tolerate surgeries differently, but this, by far has been the best. I've had a total hysterectomy, bilateral mastectomy, splenectomy along with other minor surgeries. I'm anxious to see what I will look like in one month!

Fantastic experience and so glad I had it done. I see immediate results and tomorrow my staples come it. Totally worth it. This being said 6 days out.
