Wooow! I did a 50% Glycolic on my face and 30% level 2 TCA I ak loving the result I am seeing! Your skin looks very much improved! Glad it's working for you XO
You did 30% Tca at home? Ahhh brave girl. Yes, 15 works fine for me. I like to do them frequently. I actually have an appt. for the 30 under my eyes
Yaaaay that sounds exciting! I do mine at home! I cannot afford going to a dermatologist right now! Ordered them off amazon and they work very well for me! I have a tough skin too so I can handle 30% to 40% lol! I know it's risky but I am very cautious and I leave it on for only couple to 3 minutes! I can't wait to hear about your results! I may post my before and after stretch marks TCA peels

I’m conservative and never go beyond the reccomended TCA strength for home use. 8-15%. I’ve been doing them for some time and it’s been over a year since my last one. Thus the summer fun hyperpigmentation, beauty marks that are always left behind. For some reason this seems to be my best peel to date. Here are some before and after. I still have a lot of dry skin, but I am allowing it to shed itself.

Dying to try it but people keep telling me it's dangerous
I can be dangerous, scarring or get in your eyes and burn off your eyes. You need to be sterile, apply evenly, put vasaline around your eyes to stop drip, do sections at a time because of gravity will run or run in your eyes, use a fan brush and do evenly quickly, and splash with cold water to neutralize each section...TCA. Other chemicals require a neutralizer. Frosting is good, that is when skin burns white so don't panic. Then its a very sterile week. PRE order Fucidin H antibacterial cream, canestin antifngal cream, zovarix anti viral cream and take an oral antiviral. Then only touch your face to apply twice a day and wash twice a day steril hands no perfume soap use Cetaphil. You must be sterile through application and healing. Then do not pick this can also cause scarring if you peel before its ready. Let shed itself. Before any of this, go see a consultation with dermatologist to ensure you have the skin color that can handle it. If you are too dark and you shed too deep you will be a white person lol.
I DO A 25% TCA at home with safe and excellent results....annually no sooner.
To be honest. I had my first peel (Jessner) done in a professional setting. It was only THAN that I knew what to expect And learned how to do it on my own. 15% is very safe. I watched a lot of videos, asked 1000 questions, and practice on the side of my face first. I would never go above 15% at home. Because I would rather do more peels frequently, then screw up my skin by jumping too high. I’ll save that for the doctors office
TRUE STORY!
Can you tell me how/where you got the antifungle pill & topical? I've only found antibacterial topicals.
I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I did not use an antifungal
What product did you use?
Lemonstwin, I only use skin obsession (online.com)
I tried Tca a few years ago and my skin wipe off like lotion; I was terrified! For weeks, I walked around with charred skin (What was left of my skin). I would never recommend tca done at home
If someone has a bad experience, it doesn’t make it less ok for someone who had already had it done by a professional. A lot of PS send you home with 15%. You just have to know your skin and what you are doing.
I hesitate to encourage stronger peels but I have done 15% Jessners and then 25% right on top of it. I was nervous about doing this and first went to a doctor to have it done. They recommended laser - for $11,000! They did have a technician who did Obagi peels, but she said I had already reached my full potential for chemical peels. Therefore I went home and did it myself. For about $75. I was not injured even though I left both peels on for an hour and a half. I also did my neck and décolletage. This wasn't my first peel. I spent all last winter experimenting on my level of tolerance, gradually going up to this level. And next I'm planning to do 35% TCA. I still have some areas of hyper pigmentation and I feel that the skin around my eyes needs more work. I don't see the logic in the idea that it's more dangerous for me to do this to myself than for a therapist or doctor to do this. What I found is that the doctor, even when doing laser, wanted to do a lighter peel than I needed and do lots of them, mainly due to the idea that it was then very unlikely to have burns. They didn't want to do my eyes either. That was the main thing I was concerned about.
There is no way on God's green earth would I even attempt this. Talk about chicken? Renova was too hard on my skin years ago.
