I should have had braces as a youngster and in late middle age wasn't sure if it was worth it. But now my smile is big and bright, and has enhanced my looks and confidence. I would recommend to anyone trying to turn back the clock through various procedures not to forget your teeth! A beautiful smile is a huge factor in maintaining a youthful and healthy appearance.

I started my Invisalign yesterday. I will have 31 trays! At the age of 61 I wonder if I left it too late, but I've always been self conscious of my teeth. I'll be looking forward to reading of your progress. My gums are sore tonight.

Welcome to the club Bessie5. I just got tray set number 3 tonight. I have a total of 36. I am a few years younger than you are and can't wait to smile again. My teeth were shifting quickly over the past year. Take care and know that it gets better. I sometimes forget I have the trays in :)

I am also 61 and started my Invisalign on January 8th. 33 trays! My teeth have an overbite and tip in, and although my front teeth are straight across, the tipping in now ages me. I decided it was not too late. My mouth is sore, but I am sure everyone else who has gone on this journey went though a little pain. I view it as another journey. And I note that many of my same age friends are also doing teeth alignment repair, which actually surprised me.
