My 3 week review

I'm updating my review because after three weeks I can totally see a difference in my 11s. When I make my squinty face the lines are not as deep or long as they were before. It also take a lot of effort to make that face were as before I made it all day long. The muscles are totally relaxed and I still have the ability to move my eyebrows avoiding a total freeze which I love! I will continue doing Botox for as long as it continues to work for me.

I agree. I'm late 40's and I think the people who say we don't need it fall into one of three camps: they either can't afford it themselves so they're jealous (so want you to look as old as them) - they are afraid of getting it and want you to be afraid too (so again, you stay looking old and no competition), or.... they need their eyesight checked!
In my experience, one of those is the case. But I LOVE my botox results for the forehead and glabella lines. Never had a bad reaction and have always ONLY went to a board certified plastic surgeon.

You silly girl! Your adorable and even kids get lines when the crinkle up their faces like that! But as long as your happy with it that's all that matters as we are all our worst critic! I know how you feel tho. I am 50 this year and just got my first juvaderm injections. People kept saying "you don't need it" and I say it doesn't matter if 1000 people lined up to tell me that it still doesn't change what I see in the mirror!!

You look great! I have a similar issue where I'm in my late 20s and I have what I think at 11's but they are more like 11111111's between my eyebrows that don't go away when my face is relaxed. I feel like I'm too young to have them this bad, especially since my parents don't even have them... but it is what it is. I'll try Botox too! Thanks for your review!

Thank goodness and you are young for 11's but much is IMHO due to a parent having them aka genes maybe? and watch the sun I never go out in it w/o 50 physical sunblock and have nice skin at 61 people say-- like my mom had bad 11's but nothing done. I'm 61 now and mine are very mild but skin is causing to become a wrinkle and I don't want this so broke down had it done its been ages since i tried it (not faithfully) and it made me look diff my brow arch got high and I didn't like it..it was NOT me. So now at my older age finally had it done by a top doc near me and again only 3 days not even that one brow is arching up and high the other my more droopy lid is not as high. I wanted the slight dimples to go away and 11's but like u in the early stages my mild 11's are still there. I will wait and see he wants me back in 2 weeks. It didn't take to the 2 other times in between when I was in my late 40's and 50's (only like 2 times for 11's) it wore off in a month! this top doc said people build up antibodies to Botox and maybe that was why[but I feel that doc before watered it down] I hear they do that! My new 'top' doc said he sees resistant to Botox people often...they just need to get need MORE and it is $$$! ugh - I can see I'm not resistant as that darn brow is going up which I asked him not to do...I think it's just my face and all! nothing to do w/him as he is truly a fab doc (Dr lee in PA)..this happened before as said and it is just not me...I hope no heaviness occurs in my mid are bewten eyes as my g/f kind of has and I am seeing a bit of now. It was 330.00 30 units...good price but really needed only 11's and dimpling of skin from my 11's morphing into an odd shape (to me). Good luck and keep getting it and use a nice light glycolic or multi type peel or peep pad weekly to make skin nice and smooth not thickened...thick skin like that adds to a wrinkles ;)! I know a lot about skincare and sunblock ok?!!!

I'm not impressed yet and not disappointed either. I just don't think I had enough units injected. My eyebrows are clearly just to muscular and need more work in two weeks when I go back.

Day 2 post Botox

I got my injections Tuesday morning and it's now Thursday afternoon I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I have minimal results so far but it has only been two days. I feel blessed that I have no negative side effects to speak of only slight bruising at one injection site. I'm not upset that the results aren't major as I wanted to start off slow anyway. I will get more at my follow up in three weeks and post more results.
