Excellent Doctor And Staff
Hello,
On August 7, I arrived at Olmec for GRS. When I arrived at the clinic I was
made very welcome from moment I stepped through the door. All the staff
greeted me and presented me with a beautiful wreath of fresh flowers. I was
shown to my room which proved very clean, tidy, and homely. I was quite
excited to say the least!
The next day August 8, I was brought into the operating room for my surgery.
They began to prepare me for the procedure. Fortunately, I had to opt for the
cometic version of GRS because of my age and so I did not have to go though
the bowel cleaning procedure. One of the first things that were done was to
run a IV line to administer medications. Secondly, I had to sit up and lean
forward so the anesthesiologist could insert the needle though subarachnoid
space for the epidural anesthesia. I was then asked if my legs where feeling
numb. And indeed they feeling numb and weird! So that's all I remember pre-
surgical!
I finally woke up in my bed feeling no pain but realized that I had a lot of
bandages around my groin area. I felt happy that the surgery was successful.
The nurses and staff were very good to me and treated me like we had been
friends for a long time. Laying in bed with a catheter was the only issue I
did not care for. But I really knew it was for my own good! It was also
strange to have the nurses and/or the sisters with technicians come and
change the dressing. I think I had to leave modesty for that experience! Dr.
Narendra Kaushik came by frequently. He has proven to me that he is a
excellent surgeon, with intellectual curiosity, and also that he has a good
sense of humor!
It is very excellent that Dr. Kaushik cases deeply for his patient and treat
each one with great respect and as individuals and he instill the same level
of care and respect into his entire staff.
You will be very happy both during and after your stay that you choose Dr.
Kaushik and his staff for the most important time of your life. Excellent
people that deliver excellent results.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kaushik for anyone considering
SRS or any other procedure.
