I've been so consumed in the healing process, I completely neglected to upload my post op pics here. I had no bruising whatsoever which was incredible since my skin is SO prone to bruising. I brush past the edge of the coffee table too fast and I have a bruise for a week! But somehow the augmentation surgery didn't. My scarring is also very petite and minimal. I went bra shopping Thursday and measured a 32DDD. But I believe they're still a bit swollen and sitting a lil high. I'm thinking I'll settle in at 32DD, but time will tell!

Nice! My procedure is next week. What profile and type of implant? I'm a black female and concern about the scaring, can you post a pic of your scar

Ever the independent one, I've been through this process largely solo. I don't have family here in Virginia, and I feel so bad about burdening my friends here. I kinda think that's a testiment to how great breast augmentation surgery is, though. It's major, and certainly ain't easy...but if you have to get through it with just you..you can! Im just over four weeks post op. I nearly never need meds any longer. I use a massage routine 2-3 times a day to help my breasts heal and soften. I've even returned to the gym 2-3 days a week. No weight training or running, but it feels good to be active again. I'm still sleeping on my back. THAT I'm not a fan of. But long, hot showers have never felt better!
